The bounded oil reserves and the need to reduce environmental pollution bordering increasingly to make solution proposals to combat the problem by reducing environmental pollution and on the other hand seek sustainability with energy savings and better quality of life for Mexicans in this paper propose alternatives to reduce fuel use and greater use of renewable energy using photovoltaic systems. Unquestionably the Mexican political issue in energy will be a little difficult to treat, however proposals are sustainable use solar energy, leaving a balance profitable for Mexican society in the field of electromobility and basic needs such as what is the purification of water, with the search for alternatives to solve a social problem purified water consumption in rural areas, where currently burning firewood to boil water creates irreversible effects pollutants and respiratory diseases, to solve the environmental problem raises renewable energy use, using photovoltaic power systems, the same systems can also be used to replace the use of fossil energy and also have the advantage over fossil fuels that are able to reach the most remote and isolated areas, where needs are not yet covered, which is why the great importance of the benefits offered substantial PV systems for social benefit.
The last couple of decades have shown an increase in the study of job satisfaction in relation to organizational outcomes, particularly in management literature. Job satisfaction is a general attitude which is the result of many specific attitudes. Data was collected through seven points Likert type summated rating scales of questionnaires from strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (7) were adopted to identify indicators. Sophisticated statistical model as “Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) has been employed. The results shown factors extract from the analysis that together accounted 84.924% of the total variance. These factors were categorized as payment, achievement and proud to work.
Saprolenia is a major aquatic fungus affecting the smooth successful operation of fish hatcheries because it causes mortality during incubation. A number of cheap synthetic antifungal products have been prohibited because of human health risks associated with them. A study was conducted to investigate the antifungal potential of Euphorbia kamerunica (Spurge) using latex from fresh extract. Fertilized catfish (Clarias gariepinus ) eggs were incubated in three different treatment concentrations of 100ml, 50ml and 25ml extract with a control. This study on the effectiveness of Euphorbia kamerunica (Spurge), a perennial woody shrubs whose caustic milky sap (Latex) is readily soluble in water was extracted as anti fungi agent on the growth of Saprolegnia species on incubated eggs of Clarias gariepinus species. The study revealed that was a significant difference (P<0.05) in the number of eggs infected at different concentration of 100ml (38 ± 10), 50ml (109 ± 8), 25ml (140 ± 14) and 0ml (197 ± 2.186) and the number of eggs hatched 100ml (648 ± 45.863), 50ml (942 ± 21.032), 25ml (1088 ± 52), and 0ml (1950 ± 63). Some of the physico-chemical parameters of the water monitored are pH, Electrical conductivity, Total dissolved solids and Temperature which were within the tolerable range/limit of the fish species. From the results, it was inferred that 25ml concentration of the spurge extract could be used to control the growth of the fungi Saprolegnia species in fish hatchery operations as a result of high hatchability rate (1088 ± 52.699) and reduced level of infection.
In the recent period, image data compression is the major component of communication and storage systems where the uncompressed images requires considerable compression technique, which should be capable to reduce the crippling disadvantages of data transmission and image storage. In the research paper, the novel image compression technique is proposed which is based on the spatial domain and quite effective for the compression of images. However, the performance of the proposed methodology is compared with the conventional compression techniques (Joint Photographic Experts Group) JPEG and set partitioning in hierarchical trees (SPIHT) using the evaluation metrics compression ratio and peak signal to noise ratio. It is evaluated that Integer wavelets with binary plane technique is more effective compression technique than JPEG and SPIHT as it provided more efficient quality metrics values and visual quality.
The National Root Crops Research Institute (NRCRI), Umudike embarked on massive training and extension of technologies of new and improved food forms of root/tuber crops to rural farmers/women groups from 2005 to date in this country generally and in South-eastern parts in particular. However, the main purpose of this study is to determine the impact and adoption rate of the training/extension activity among farmers in Imo State of Nigeria. A structured interview schedule, administered to 90 farmers in 3 zones of Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe was the major instrument used in data collection. The respondents were 30 generated from a particular training point in each zone. The data were analysed using means, percentages and means scores. The result revealed that although the respondents were mostly women, an appreciable number of men participated in the training and these respondents were reasonably aware of the innovations. However, the adoptions of cassava innovations (value added and cultivation)by the respondents were near average but that of cocoyam and sweetpotato were very low.
Current practice of estimating average stress increment required for consolidation settlement computations employs mid-depth stress approach or multiple application of sublayer technique, which are tedious and difficult methods to implement for hand calculations. This paper presents simplified charts to estimate such a stress. The influence factor needed to estimate the average stress increment is calculated based on the integration of Boussinesq’s equations for common foundations and various soil configurations. The results are presented in a series of normalized non-dimensional charts, which are independent of structural loads and soil characteristics. The derived charts are useful especially when the compressible layer is not directly located underneath the loaded foundation and they avoid the necessity of dividing the soil into a series of sublayers to obtain a realistic value of average stress increment. They can be readily implemented into design allowing accurate prediction of consolidation settlement or can serve as a powerful tool for optimizing and proportioning the dimensions of footings under certain allowable settlement where otherwise an iterative tedious solution is required. Illustrative examples are presented to demonstrate the applicability and efficiency of the suggested charts for consolidation settlement computations.
In this paper an SEIR epidemic model with a limited resource for treatment is investigated. It is assumed that the treatment rate is proportional to the number of patients as long as this number is below a certain capacity and it becomes constant when that number of patients exceeds this capacity. Mathematical analysis is used to study the dynamic behavior of this model. Existence and stability of disease-free and endemic equilibria are investigated. It is shown that this kind of treatment rate leads to the existence of multiple endemic equilibria where the basic reproduction number plays a big role in determining their stability.
Dress code is a part of dignity and professionalism with little exception. The outfit of Judges and Advocates with judicial robes seems a mark of dignity and loyalty towards court and justice. Americans refused to adopt the judicial attire of the British after independence. Almost all countries in the Indian subcontinent are in debt to the British for the development of their jurisprudence including dress code. Even, the British has relaxed wearing judicial costumes but these countries including Bangladesh have slight headache to suit the dress code for lawyers as per climatic conformity and culture even after the departure of the British. India has modified dress code for lawyers to a tiny extent but the practice is still like colonized India reminding silent domination of the British. This write up is a venture to explore the historical chronicles of the judicial attire across the world and theirs recent changing trends and practices with a view to seek a meaningful transformation in Bangladesh.
A feeding trial was conducted to investigate aflatoxin effect of moulded sausage waste with ginger and its histopathological study on Clarias gariepinus. One hundred and eighty fingerlings with mean weight 3.90g±0.02 were stocked at 15fish/net happas (0.8mx0.6mx0.4m).The net happa were suspended into ¾ of an earthen pond of (12mx12mx1.5m) LXBXH using kuralon twine at the four edges of the happas to tie around carefully arranged bamboo poles across an earthen pond. The fingerlings were fed with four isonitrogenous diets containing 40% crude protein at different inclusion level. Treatment 1 (0% control diet), Treatment 2 (10%), Treatment 3 (20%), and Treatment 4 (30%).The fingerlings were fed at 5% body weight for 8 weeks. It was observed that there was a significant difference (p<0.05) in the values obtained for Feed conversion ratio (FCR), Specific growth rate (SGR), Protein efficiency ratio (PER) and weight increase. Feed conversion ratio in Treatment 1 (3.14±0.35) and in Treatment 2 (1.01±0.58).
