This paper investigates the unsteady flow of an electrically conducting incompressible non-Newtonian viscoelastic fluid through a porous medium filled in a vertical porous channel in the presence of transverse magnetic field. The fluid and the channel rotate as a solid body with constant angular velocity, 𝛀𝛀∗, about an axis perpendicular to the planes of the plates. The effects of thermal radiation and chemical reaction are taken into account embedded with slip boundary condition. The closed-form analytical solutions are obtained for momentum, energy and concentration equations. The influences of the various parameters entering into the problem in the velocity, temperature and concentration field are discussed with the help of graphs. Also, numerical values of physical quantities, such as skin friction coefficient, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are presented in tabular form.
Generalization of an idea may lead to very interesting result. I considered in the paper the concept of reference frame in general relativity and geometry of metric- affinne manifold. Using this concept I learn few physical applications: Lorentz transformation in gravitational fields, Doppler shift. A reference frame in event space is a smooth field of orthonormal bases. Every reference frame is equipped by anholonomic coordinates. Using anholonomic coordinates allows to find out relative speed of two observers and appropriate Lorentz transformation. Synchronization of a reference frame is an anholonomic time coordinate. Simple calculations show how synchronization influences time measurement in the vicinity of the Earth. Measurement of Doppler shift from the star orbiting the black hole helps to determine mass of the black hole. According observations of Sgr A, if non orbiting observer estimates age of S2 about 10 Myr, this star is 0.297 Myr younger. We call a manifold with torsion the metric-affine manifold. We cannot draw closed parallelogram in event space, if there exists torsion. Learning how torsion influences on tidal force reveals similarity between tidal equation for geodesic and the Killing equation of second type. The relationship between tidal acceleration, curvature and torsion gives an opportunity to measure torsion.
This study was designed to evaluate the therapeutic effectiveness of atorvastatin in Iraqi patients with systolic heart failure. Sixty heart failure patients were participated in this study and their ages ranged from (35-72) years. The patients were divided into three groups: patients with heart failure and normal lipid profile not receiving atorvastatin (group one), patients with heart failure and normal lipid profile receiving atorvastatin (group two), patients with heart failure and dyslipidemia receiving atorvastatin. Twenty healthy subjects were selected to be a normal group for the purpose of comparison. Several parameters of inflammation and oxidative stress (hs-CRP, TNF-α, total antioxidant status and adiponectin) as well as left ventricular ejection fraction were measured. The study duration was three months and the parameters were measured at baseline, one-half month and three months. The results showed that the serum level of hs-CRP, TNF-α and total antioxidant status were not significantly changed in group one patients, while they were significantly changed in the other two groups. The seum level of adiponectin was not significantly changed in any of the three groups. The LVEF was significantly increased in the two groups who received atorvastatin, while it was not significantly changed in grouop one patients.
The traditional logic (crisp) is based on the dichotomy of true and false, what is not true is false and what is not false is true. Half term does not exist. However, the real world presents some situations where the answers true and false are not enough to represent the reality. Using this idea, it was applied, in this paper, the logics crisp and fuzzy to a problem of choose of place for the implantation of a gauge station in a watershed. COPPETEC-COSENZA model for crisp logic and operation with triangular numbers in electronic spread sheet (fuzzy) were adopted. The same results had been presented with regard to the adequateness to the implantation of the gauge station.
In this paper we study some generalized properties of Intuitionistic L-fuzzy subrings. In this direction the concept of image and inverse image of an Intuitionistic L-fuzzy set under ring homomorphism are discussed. Further the concept of Intuitionistic L-fuzzy quotient subring and Intuitionistic L-fuzzy ideal of an Intuitionistic L-fuzzy subring are studied. Finally, weak homomorphism, weak isomorphism, homomorphism and isomorphism of an Intuitionistic L-fuzzy subring are introduced and some results are established in this direction.
- In the course of phytochemical investigations on methanol extract of Elaeagnus umbellata lead to the isolation of new isoflavone and phenol compound as a source from this plant. The isolation of plant also gave the terpenoid compound. The name of isolated compounds are; 3-(hydroxymethyl)-4-methoxyphenol (1) and 5, 7-dihydroxy-3(2-hydroxyphenyl-4H-chromen-4-one (1) and Stigmasterol (3). This is the first report of the isolation of compounds (1) and (2). The Characterization of the compounds was made on the basis of spectral studies.
Here in this paper a MAC layer level clogging detection system has been projected. The planned model aims to explores a system to compute the degree of clogging at victim node with maximal accuracy. This clogging detection apparatus is integrated with a Two-Step Cross Layer Clogging Control Routing Topology. The proposed model involves controlling of clogging in two steps with effective energy capable blocking detection and optimal cost of routing. Packet drop in routing is mostly due to link crash and clogging. Most of the existing clogging control solutions do not have the ability to distinguish between packet loss due to link collapse and packet loss due to clogging. As a result these solutions aim towards action against packet drop due to link malfunction which is an unnecessary effort and ends with of energy resources. The other limit in most of the available way out is the utilization of energy and resources to detect clogging state, degree of clogging and alert the source node about blocking in routing path. This paper explores a cross layered model of clogging recognition an control mechanism that include energy efficient clogging detection, Multicast Group Level Clogging Evaluation and Handling Algorithm [MGLCEH] and Multicast Group Level Load Balancing Algorithm [MGLLBA], which is a hierarchical cross layered base clogging recognition and avoidance model in short can refer as Qos Optimization by cross layered clogging handling (MGLCEH). This paper is supported by the investigational and simulation results show that better store utilization, energy efficiency in clogging detection and clogging control is possible by the proposed topology.
This paper presents an efficient algorithm which can remove high density salt-and-pepper noise from corrupted digital image. This technique differentiates between corrupted and uncorrupted pixels and performs the filtering process only on the corrupted ones. The proposed algorithm calculates median only among the noise-free neighborhoods in the processing window and replaces the centre corrupted pixel with that median value. The adaptive behavior is enabled here by expanding the processing window based on neighbourhood noise-free pixels. In case of high density noise corruption where no noise-free neighborhood is found within the maximum size of window, this algorithm takes last processed pixels into the account. While most of the existing filtering techniques use only one last processed pixel after reaching maximum window, the proposed algorithm considers multiple last processed pixels rather than considering a single one so that more accurate decision can be taken in order to replace the corrupted pixel.
In the present work, a widely available cottonseed oil has been considered and converted to Cottonseed Methyl Ester (CsME). 100% CsME used as fuel on DI Diesel Engine with minor modifications like changing of compression ratio of the engine and preheating of CsME. Performance evaluation of single cylinder vertical water-cooled diesel engine is done with diesel, 100% preheated CsME. Various compression ratios such as 16.5:1, 17.5:1, 18.5:1 and 19:1 have been adopted for experimentation. CsME preheated to 520C is used at various compression ratios for the analysis of engine performance. The combination of increasing of compression ratio and preheating not only enhances the homogenization and vaporization but also enhances the rate of release of inbuilt oxygen of CsME. With CsME operation at 18.5:1 C.R and preheating (520C), the brake thermal efficiency is found to be 32.32 % at full load condition. It is found that the exhaust emissions are also low in these operating conditions. It is concluded from the present work, for better performance and low emissions with vegetable oils, the oil should first be converted to methy/ethyl esters and operated in a slightly increased compression ratio diesel engine with preheated biodiesel. After observing the performance and emission parameters, it is concluded that a compression ratio of 18.5:1 for the chosen engine is the best compression ratio with 520C preheated CsME.
Security plays a vital role during the transmission of private data from one sender to the other. Although there are many security algorithms implemented but here we are providing the security algorithms on the RFID devices. The authentication techniques implemented in RFID is based on the new algorithm based on smart cards. The data send through the tags can be made secure using the proposed algorithm so that the un-authorised users can’t access the data without any further unique numbers.
