We define and investigate a new class of harmonic univalent functions defined by Salagean integral operator. We obtain coefficient inequalities and distortion bounds for the functions in this class.
The Life Origination Hydrate hypothesis (LOH-hypothesis) presents a mechanism of living matter origination from simple mineral substances within natural underground or underseabed methane-hydrate matrixes with no external energy. The mechanism is well-founded chemically, thermodynamically, and logically and is applicable to any celestial body where the corresponding temperature and mineralogical conditions are maintained at a constant level for a rather long time. The hypothesis formulation method is based on the thermodynamic directedness of the natural movement and consists in an attempt to double back mentally the way Nature went and thus to reveal the principal milestones on its route.
The study on water resources assessment carried out in the Upper Manya Krobo district of the Eastern region, Ghana with the sole objective of identifying feasible options for water supply augmentation to communities in the district. The methodology consisted of inventory of boreholes and hand dug wells, rivers, streams, pipe schemes. Surveys conducted on the hydrogeology, geomorphology and buildings (roof) to determine the prospect of constructing underground dams and rain harvesting schemes. Interviews as well as sampling of groundwater and laboratory measurements determined the quality status of groundwater. Also carried out was limited pumping test. The results showed that groundwater potential is generally low. Borehole yield varies from 0.48 m3h-1 to 12.00 m3h-1 with mean of 3.4 m3h-1 and standard deviation of 2.97 respectively. Generally, the southern half of the district seems to have relatively higher yields than the northern half. Except for the high iron concentration, which is mostly outside the WHO (2006) guideline values, other chemical constituents were generally low and within the WHO (2004), guideline limits. The potential for rain harvesting is high, however, in a few communities; sheds would need to be provided for the dual purposes of school, community centre, etc on one hand and rain harvesting system on the other. The geology and geomorphology of the district are suitable for underground dam construction, however, more detailed hydrogeological investigations are required prior to construction.
The e-Governance (digital government or online government) refers to government’s use of information technology to exchange information and services with citizens, businesses, and other arms of government. E-Governance is a process of reform in the way Governments work, share information, engage citizens and deliver services to external and internal clients for the benefit of both government and the clients that they serve. This paper studies the current status of e-governance and future of e-governance in Punjab.
Objective : To evaluate the application effects of simulation teaching methods in clinical teaching of surgery of Chinese medicine. Methods : Questionnaire surveys were conducted to collect information about how teachers and students appraised different models of teaching; then the students were randomly selected into two groups, one taught with simulation teaching methods and the other with conventional teaching methods; the teaching quality was evaluated when the teaching was over. Results : Students in the group taught with simulation teaching methods got a better academic record than those in the group taught with conventional teaching methods, the difference was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion : In clinical teaching of surgery of Chinese medicine, simulation teaching methods are significantly better than conventional ones and worth spreading.
In this paper we show how to using the extension transformation in I Ching in order to transforming a hexagram to another one. Each binary hexagram (and similarly the previous trigram) has a degree of Yang and a degree of Yin. As in neutrosophic logic and set, for each hexagram there is corresponding an opposite hexagram , while in between them all other hexagrams are neutralities denoted by ; a neutrality has a degree of and a degree of . A generalization of the trigram (which has three stacked horizontal lines) and hexagram (which has six stacked horizontal lines) to n-gram (which has n stacked horizontal lines) is provided. Instead of stacked horizontal lines one can consider stacked vertical lines - without changing the composition of the trigram/hexagram/n-gram. Afterwards, circular representations of the hexagrams and of the n-grams are given.
In this paper we extend Prof. Yang Chunyan and Prof. Cai Wen’s dependent function of a point P with respect to two nested sets X0 ⊂ X, for the case the sets X0 and X have common ending points, from 1D - space to n-D-space. We give several examples in 2D- and 3D-spaces. When computing the dependent function value k(.) of the optimal point O, we take its maximum possible value. Formulas for computing k(O), and the geometrical determination the Critical Zone are also given.
Demand for high speed and low power architecture for DWT computation have led to design of novel algorithms and architecture. In this paper we design, model and implement a hardware efficient, high speed and power efficient DWT architecture based on modified lifting scheme algorithm. The design is interfaced with SIPO and PISO to reduce the number of I/O lines on the FPGA. The design is implemented on Spartan III device and is compared with lifting scheme logic. The proposed design operates at frequency of 280 MHz and consumes power less than 42 mW. The presynthesis and post-synthesis results are verified and suitable test vectors are used in verifying the functionality of the design. The design is suitable for real time data processing.
Accurate forecasted data will reduce not only the hedging costs but also the information will be useful in several other decisions. This paper compares three simulated exchange rates of Malaysian Ringgit with actual exchange rates using GARHC, GJR and EGARCH models. For testing the forecasting effectiveness of GARCH, GJR and EGARCH the daily exchange rates four currencies viz Australian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Thailand Bhat and Philippine Peso are used. The forecasted rates, using Gaussian random numbers, are compared with the actual exchange rates of year 2011 to estimate errors. Both the forecasted and actual rates are plotted to observe the synchronisation and validation. The results show more volatile exchange rates are predicted well by these GARCH models efficiently than the hard currency exchange rates which are less volatile. Among the three models the effective model is indeterminable as these models forecast the exchange rates in different number of iterations for different currencies. The leverage effect incorporated in GJR and EGARCH models do not improve the results much. The results will be useful for the exchange rate dealers like banks, importers and exporters in managing the exchange rate risks through hedging.
In this paper we give the defition of weakly prime element of a module. Therefore we give a new definition of factorization in a module, which is called weakly factorization. So we call a module weakly unique factorization which is unique. We give the relation between weakly prime elements and weakly prime sub modules Then we characterize such weakly unique factorization modules.
