In this paper we have given Hypergeometric form of some indefinite integrals involving Hypergeometric function. The results represent here are assume to be new.
The study examined the influence of leaders’ perceived power source on subordinate employees’ commitment and work attitude. One hundred and eighty-three (183) respondents completed a questionnaire comprising of the Power Source Scale, Organizational Commitment Scale and the Work Group Functioning Scale. The research participants were selected in Ado Ekiti, Nigeria metropolis through a multi level random sampling method. Responses from the survey research were analysed using the multiple regression analysis, the independent t test, and the Pearson correlation analysis. Results of the study showed that leaders’ perceived power source had a significant influence on employees’ commitment and work attitude. A positive relationship was also found to exist between leaders’ perceived power source and employees’ commitment, and between work attitude and employees commitment. No significant relationship existed, however, between leaders’ perceived power source and work attitude. It was also revealed that sex of employees had no significant effect on employees’ commitment and work attitude.
Quicksort is well-know algorithm used for sorting, making O(n log n) comparisons to sort a dataset of n items. Being a divide-and-conquer algorithm, it is easily modified to use parallel computing. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the performance of parallel quicksort algorithm and compare it with theoretical performance analysis. To achieve this we implement a tool to do both sequential and parallel quicksort on randomly generated arrays of different size in several runs to provide us with enough data to draw conclusions about the efficiency of using the capability of modern multicore processors together with algorithms designed to increase the speed of sorting large arrays.
Generally accepted rule of CIM like other conventions about carrier operator is that in case of any damage related to contract of carriage the liability of carrier such as railway or rail transportation institutes will not exceed a certain ceiling except those cases predicted in regulations. The ceiling of carrier liability is payment of seventeen units of account at most for each kilogram of non-net weight of goods.
The punitive damage is a kind of damage that should be compensated by the defendant for his/her conduct in applying damage tinted with insolence and malice to the plaintiff. The origin of this law institution was in Common Law especially in England which has been developed in other countries quickly. Some conditions should be provided for demanding the punitive damage. The conduct specified in the verdict of punitive damage is the behavior tinted with insolence committed by the defendant; on the other hand, occurrence of loss is one of the conditions required for demanding the compensation of punitive damage; while in other kinds of damages, the required conditions for claiming the indemnity are different.
CIM carrier regulations and enforcement actions against employees and officers and workers as they are responsible. Whether they have a contractual relationship with the carrier or without a contractual relationship, but order twenty have been implicated in the transport stream. The review will consider the regulation of rail carriers is whether or Railway Institute of Transport contracted further or alternative carriers in the Sender or receiver are in charge.
In this paper, we use the notion of E.A. property in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space to prove a common fixed point theorem which generalizes Theorem-2 of Turkoglu, Alaca,Cho and Yildiz [12].
The Global Hospital Information Systems market is forecast to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate of 10% from 2010-2017. Healthcare organizations globally recognize the importance of investing in information technologies. The HIS systems are large computerized data bases intended primarily for communication, store health and administrative information. It is evident that the use of HIS offers tremendous opportunities to reduce clinical errors, support health care professionals decision making, increases the efficiency & quality of patient care. The development, testing, and adoption of HIS remain limited and numerous barriers exist. There is an urgent need to take a fresh look at HIS. The advancement of information system & technologies made various new applications possible. The purpose of this study is to understand infrastructure, system practices, hindering and motivating forces behind HIS at a tertiary teaching hospital which is explorative in nature. The study also focuses on details about hardware, operational procedure and other important facts pertaining to forces resulting in acceptance of HIS.
The push for minimum wage increase in Nigeria is becoming more and more rampant. Consequently, this study uses qualitative and quantitative data gathered through a survey and structured interview among civil servants and public servants in Port Harcourt, Nigeria to analyze perceptions on minimum wage increase in the civil service. It considered the rationale for minimum wage increase and also if minimum wage is capable of improving the economic condition of civil servants, the advantages and disadvantages of minimum wage increase as viewed by civil servants. The findings suggest that civil servants believe minimum wage increase is a motivational tool for workers, since salary increase encourages workers to be more productive. Also the belief that minimum wage increase affects the economic condition of civil servants positively and economic growth is a prerequisite for minimum wage increase is a view shared by most civil servants. The major limitation was the lack of adequate information on the exact size and characteristics of the population. The relative small sample drawn from only the Federal and State Secretariats limit the extent of generalization of result as the opinion of civil servants in Nigeria generally.
An increasing world population exerts a continually growing demand on usable freshwater resources. Access to water plays a key role in development; it supports human life in direct consumption, agricultural uses and industrial activities. Time and drudgery involved to access safe drinking water resulted to loss of human resources and capital, thus affecting nearly every household life. This paper focuses on the determination of water-stressed ratio using Integrated Water Measurement Tool (IWMT). Structured simple time analysis and Adjusted composite index approaches were employed to compute (IWMT) values in all the sampled areas. Variables such as access to safe water coverage, water availability and use of water were considered. IWMT values from the two approaches show that Ese-Odo is the most water-scarce region with least IWMT values of 14.1 (Adjusted composite index: ACI) and highest value of 2.6 minsl-1 (Structured simple time analysis: SSA), while Owo, Ondo-West and Ose local government areas experience fair distribution of protected water supply with IWMT values of 1.05 minsl-1, 20.8; 1.00 minsl-1, 17.2; and 0.55 minsl-1, 16.9 respectively.
