Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a chronic neurodegenerative disorder characterized by the progressive loss of dopaminergic neurons of substantianigra pars compacta in the ventral midbrain leads to the reduction of dopamine being released into the striatum. These processes are then responsible for the clinical features of PD including bradykinesia, resting tremor, rigidity, and difficulty in initiating movements.
The concept of construction and stage-by-stage development of basic model of stationary X-ray induced conductivity for wide-gap semiconductors is proposed. Within the limits of first stage, calculation of spatial distribution of the generated electrons and holes in an ideal crystal which absorbs X-ray flux is carried out and volt-ampere characteristic is calculated.
This article unveils the circumstances surrounding urbanization and city development in Africa. With histo-demographic antecedents as background and specific examples from different parts of the continent, the article describes the trend, reasons, pattern, and consequences of city development in Africa. It opines that the future of African cities may not be bleak as orchestrated by a certain school of thought if the planning and management of physical environment is made to curtail urban sprawl and encourage a system of moderate-sized urban centres and urban villages with relatively diversified rural or semi-urban economies, and if the urban economy of the continent is made to be less marginalized in the global economy.
The effect of graded level of rumen content fed to ninety growing snail, Achatina Achatina was investigated in a ten week experiment. Complete randomised designed (CRD) was used in which snails were assigned to three dietary treatment groups 10%,15% and 20% decomposed rumen content respectively, each treatment had three replicates with ten snails per replicate. The snails were fed ad-libitum. Growth parameter (weight Gain, feed intake feed to gain ratio were taken on weekly basis .snail fed 10% decomposed rumen Content recorded the highest weight gain (p<0.05 ) while those fed 20% decomposed rumen content recorded the least value of weight gain though there were no significant difference between those feed containig15% and 20% rumen content ( P>0.05). Feed intake of those fed 10% rumen content was significantly higher (P<0.05) than the Other two feed samples .there was no significant difference among the three feed samples in terms of feed to gain ratio. The result shows that there is higher growth performance in snails fed 10% rumen content.
The purpose of this study was to extend the existing body of knowledge on the perception of acceptance and rejection among the university students. A conceptual framework which illustrates three dimensions of acceptance and rejection including parental, siblings and peer group was developed. The present research was a descriptive study which used an indigenous research inventory to measure acceptance and rejection. The study was carried out on a sample of 100 university students and it explored the impact of demographic variables including gender, age, birth order, and family income level on determining the level of acceptance and rejection. Result of the study revealed that the phenomenon of university students’ acceptance and rejection does exist among. Male students experience higher parental and siblings rejection than females. Students from higher income families experience higher rejection compared to students from low income families. The findings also indicated that different demographic variables contribute significantly in determining the perceived level of acceptance and rejection.
Data warehouse is one of the most rapidly growing areas in management information system. With this approach, data for Executive Information System (EIS) and Decision Support System (DSS) applications are separated from operational data and stored in a separate database. This process is called data warehousing. The major advantages of this approach are: improved in performance, better data quality, and the ability to consolidate and summarize data from heterogeneous systems. A data warehouse is part of a larger infrastructure that includes legacy data sources, external data sources, a repository, data acquisition software, and user interface and related analytical tools. The aim of this research work is to elaborate that how the textile industry can manage and improve their production capacity and resources at optimum level to produce a good quality result using data warehousing and data mining techniques. This research work is conduction in Masood Textile Mills Limited, Faisalabad, Pakistan (MTML). The results may hopefully opened-up an era of research and methodology that could further benefit the Industry to support in decision support system.
This study aimed to explore the financial stress of the female university student. Study also assesses the relationship between financial problems and financial stress. A questionnaire containing 32 positive and negative statements was administered to 100 female university students’ of Bah din Zakiriya University. The psychometric properties were determined. The results show that it is a valid and reliable tool for measuring financial problems and its impact in the context of female university students .in order to test the research objects various statistical analysis were performed on the data and it was found that there is a significant positive correlation between financial problems and stress and financial stress. As far as the variation due to demographic are concerned students from the low income families are facing social rejection from teachers and peer groups.
The cryocoolers are being developed for use in space and in terrestrial applications where combinations of long lifetime, high efficiency, compactness, low mass, low vibration, flexible interfacing, load variability, and reliability are essential. Pulse tube cryocoolers are now being used or considered for use in cooling infrared detectors for many space applications. In the development of these systems, as presented in this paper, first the system is analyzed theoretically. Based on the conservation of mass, the equation of motion, the conservation of energy, and the equation of state of a real gas a general model of the pulse tube refrigerator is made. The use of the harmonic approximation simplifies the differential equations of the model, as the time dependency can be solved explicitly and separately from the other dependencies. The model applies only to systems in the steady state. Time dependent effects, such as the cool down, are not described. From the relations the system performance is analyzed. And also we are describing pulse tube refrigeration mathematical models. There are three mathematical order models: first is analyzed enthalpy flow model and heat pumping flow model, second is analyzed adiabatic and isothermal model and third is flow chart of the computer program for numerical simulation. These mathematical reviews describe cryocoolers working and operation.
The purpose of this study is to find out the value of Chongqing back-feeding agriculture legislation in China by method of literature analysis so as to provide the guidance for establishing the related legislative regulations. The purpose value of Chongqing back-feeding agriculture legislation in China is to establish the trial legislation for back-feeding agriculture in China based on the systematical analysis of basic theories, institutional arrangement and operational mechanism. The moral value of Chongqing back-feeding agriculture legislation in China is to ensure the fairness in entities and procedures, and the efficiency in orders and benefits. It is concluded that the legislation of Chongqing back-feeding agriculture in China is quite necessary regards to the two type values, i.e., purpose and moral values.
Hardware based virus protection systems are required for identifying the malicious content and further removing it from network streams. Network Intrusion Detection System(NIDS) is needed to protect the end user machines from threats. An effective NIDS is therefore a network security system capable of protecting the end user machines well before a threat affects.NIDS requires a space efficient data base for detection of threats in high speed conditions. Bloom Filters are one of the security filters that consume significant power to detect and then filter out malicious content. A Bloom filter is a space efficient randomized data structure for representing a set in order to support membership queries. The aim of this paper is to compare the different architectures of Bloom filter like Standard Bloom filter, pipelined bloom filter, counting Bloom filter and parallel processing architecture of bloom filter in terms of their merits and demerits by using algorithmic & architectural techniques.
