The current classification and protocols that are followed in the Heart Disease and Pregnancy National Center (SNCE abbreviation for Servicio Nacional de CardiopatÃÂa y Embarazo, in Spanish); regarding coronary artery disease associated to pregnancy are presented. Concise guiding principles concerning the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of coronary artery disease during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period are offered.
