The two, detachment and faith, seem contradictory, and yet theologians know that every one of us lives parallel existences, contributing not to the dilemma of compulsory choice, but engaging with co-existence as a principle of rationality. This relativism is something that sociologists have accepte as compartment alisation. The debate goes back in Indian Sociology, at least to the work of M.N. Srinivas (1996) and Milton Singer (1972), and fore grounded by Robert Redfield and his classic work on Mexico (1973). In the 60s of the last century, it was understood that when scientists went to the laboratory, they took off their traditional identities and put on their scientific roles, and nothing was lost. Renny Thomas, in a recent work, has argued that the scientists in India see no disjunction between their acceptance of religious beliefs and the practice of them, as these are cultural idioms of the society in which they live (Thomas 2015). Existentially, how do human beings live in disparate worlds, and come to terms with the many different codes of culture without creating schism in themselves? I ask this question primarily because co-existence is accompanied by adaptation, but this adaptation is dependent on a mutual dialogue, which premises the understanding of one another’s vocabulary. The Sociology of Religion has always fore grounded Comparative Religion as its most important apparatus. It is not possible to understand religious behaviour unless one accepts the axiom of the existence of the religious. Experience is personal, and yet the vocabulary of believing assures us that there are the components of ritual and myth that accompany it. This is the essential aspect of the religious. Monks and Nuns practising transcendence still assure the laity that the text and the rite are part of the daily apparatus of the believing community. Silence is possible only to those who have accepted the ultimate space of the transcended. However, to reach there, the path usually
In this paper explores the relationship between entrepreneurial behaviour and firm performance from institutional environmental perspective. More specifically, the study argues that an economic process such as entrepreneurial behaviour is best understood from an institutional framework. The assumption is that the motivation, commitment, experience, knowledge and behaviours of the entrepreneur are core in the entrepreneurial process. However, firm performance is also dependent on the institutional and even the geographical context in which it operates. It is on the basis of this logic that this paper argues that institutional parameters can moderate the way entrepreneurial behaviour influences performance of micro and small livestock enterprises in North Eastern Kenya.
The paper questions the ability of arbitrageurs to ascertain value with some confidence and to realize it quickly. The discussion in the paper suggests a reason why some markets are more attractive for arbitrage than others The paper identifies a number of so-called anomalies in which particular investment strategies have may not earn higher returns than their systematic risk. Our analysis offers a different mathematical approach to understanding these anomalies than does the standard efficient market theory.
Rising global competition and the increasing costs of natural resources today as well as customers demands for higher manufactured goods quality, better product selection, and improved customer service have created new challenges for manufacturing industries. Even though research has suggested that supply chain management and supply chain integration are distinct potential, little is known about their performance effects and about the contextual conditions under which they are effective. Based on a literature survey and expert analysis of manufacturing firms, we empirically investigate the effects of supply chain integration on quality performance using Analytical hierarchical Open Decision maker analysis. We argue our study in the dynamic capabilities view and contingency theory. We investigate that supply chain integration positively affect quality performance. our result indicates that knowledge, technology, production &design and resource integration directly related and impact on quality performance for manufacturing companies.
The computer and information system are very vital vital element of any organization especially administrative level in education department in this age of computer and internet working. Computer really works in minimizing the work burden and brings efficiency in working profile. The history shows that those nations and organizations which focused on their technological improvement proved very successful organizations and nation on the planet. This study has been conducted in an education administrative department where most of the work was done manually rather than using the advanced computer infrastructure and information system. The study surveyed 150 employees of the civil secretariats administrative department of education in Peshawar where both junior and senior level. The study used stratified random sampling technique creating strata’s for both junior and senior level employees. The self-administered 15 items questionnaire was used tested for validity and reliability. The results found that both type of employees have been benefited from the application and use of computer and information system.
The MSME sector is considered to be the engine of growth for an economy. The estimated contribution of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, including service segment, to the country’s GDP during 2012-13 was 37.54 per cent; while the total employment in the sector is 805.24 Lakh. The contribution of the sector to India’s total export for the year 2014- 15 was 44.70 per cent. Also the problems of poverty and inequality are deep- rooted, especially in developing countries like India. To address these problems, we need a system of ‘Inclusive Growth’. Growth cannot be inclusive unless and until the fruits of the growth is percolated to the bottom of pyramid. Specifically in a developing nation like India where inequality in distribution of wealth and income is significantly high, sustained increase in per capita income cannot be translated automatically to sustained increase in standard of living.
This paper seeks to explore the benefits gained from the outsourcing strategy implemented by industrial companies in Jordan in terms of cost reduction, focus on core competencies, access to specialized resources, quality improvement, and the perceived benefits. This was achieved by testing hypotheses based on the main objectives of the study. The population of the study consisted of all of the manufacturing companies located at the Sahab industrial estate, Jordan, while the respondents are made up of those who occupy managerial positions in the aforementioned companies. A survey questionnaire was developed, relying mainly on the study of Gewald et al. (2004), with contributions from the studies of Anderson (1997) and Kotabe et al. (2008). The researchers distributed 130 questionnaires but only 122 were retrieved, out of which 114 were considered valid for statistical treatment.
Sun structure have research for hundreds years, which were very important for cosmic physics and earth science. This paper build 121 balls mathematic physics model, by Newton attract force equation. This model deduced out that solar internal parts got outward attract force. The internal particles might be accelerated to high speed to form light emission and jets. The surface parts got inward attract force, to show cool atmosphere. This model may deduce out and explain the sun light emission, flare, prominence, jets, and cool atmosphere phenomena. The 121 balls model can help research for solar physics, cosmic physics and earth science.
To study different applications of mining for the fast prototyping networks and improvement of search engine ranking, network information retrieval and fast prototyping network environment enhancement. The advantage of the implicit feedback left in the trail of users while navigating through fast prototyping networks. The value of queries to extract interesting rules, patterns and information about the documents they reach. The models, created in this Paper work, show that the “wisdom of the crowds” conveyed in queries has many applications that overall provide a better understanding of user’s needs in the fast prototyping network. The general interaction of applications with fast prototyping networks and searching engines in a straightforward way. We focus our efforts on analyzing and extracting valuable knowledge from the behavior of users on the fast prototyping networks. Much of this information is provided implicitly by users and recorded in usage logs, which include search engine query logs and/or network access logs. In particular, we center our research on queries that users submit to fast prototyping search engines, which we believe convey in straight forward way “wisdom of the crowds”. The intuition is that queries and their clicked results implicitly convey the opinion of users about specific network documents. As discuss throughout this paper, queries are crucial to understanding how users interact with Web sites and search engines. Implicit user feedback provides a unique insight into users’ actual needs on the Web.
Origins of dark energy and inflation in semiclosed Friedman model universe are sought by examining the imaginary pair of gravitationary bound Planckeon-Higgs boson composite requiring temperature T~1015K for thermal creation. Inflation is likely to be related to the singular nature of the transition amplitude D(s2) of the Higgs boson obeying PC-and Tsymmetric Klein-Gordon equation, between neighboring points separated by a space like distance s2 = (ct)2 – r2 < 0 in the ultraviolet region outside the light cone, past and future, violating time-symmetry and local causality .
