Investigations have been carried out to examine the presence of liver glycogen in normal control, diabetic control and extract treated albino rats. Estimation of liver glycogen was carried out by taking liver samples from normal control, diabetic control and extract treated albino rats. The rats weighing 150-190gm were administered intraperitonealy with 180mg/kg body weight dose of alloxan monohydrate for the induction of diabetes, with alcoholic leaf extract of Tinospora cordifolia with a oral dose of 20 ml/kg body weight from day 2 to 30 half an hour prior to feeding twice a day. It produces significant decrease in liver glycogen level.

Background: Despite the fact that, Having adequate information on the nutritional status of adolescent girls do have paramount importance to foster a healthy transition from childhood to adulthood and to broken the intergenerational cycle of malnutrition, in Ethiopia particularly in the study area information regarding the nutritional status of adolescents is lacking. Methods and procedure: An institution based cross sectional study design was employed. A total of 598 adolescent school girls were selected using simple random sampling methods. Data were collected using interviewer administered questionnaire and anthropometric measurements. Anthropometric measurements were converted to height-for age zscores and BMI-for-age z-scores using WHO Anthroplus software. The nutritional status of the study subjects were classified as stunted (HAZ < =2SD) and thin (BAZ < −2 SDD). Data were Analyzed using SPSS version 20.0. Descriptive statistics was done. Binary logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with stunting and thinness. Then the variables found significantly associated were included in multiple logistic regressions to identify the independent predictors of thinness and stunting. Finally, P value of ≤ 0.05 used to declare significance. Results: The overall prevalence of thinness and stunting among school adolescent girls was 11.9% and 20.9 % respectively. Early adolescent girls (age <=14) were 1.7 (AOR =1.7, 95% CI: 2.2 – 19.1) times more likely to become thinner as compared to late adolescent girls (age >=14). Adolescent girls whose mothers had no formal education were 9.6 (AOR=9.6 CI: 2.6-23.3), mothers who can read and write were 7.6 (AOR =7.6, 95% CI: 2.2 – 19.1) and mothers who had primary education were 5.2 (AOR= 5.2, 95%CI: 1.4 – 17.4) times more likely to be thin as compared to those mothers who had college and above education level. Approach: This paper provides a survey report of nursing student’s response regarding their participation at an interprofessional community partnership health fair and research project (The 2015 Costa Layman Health Fair and Cardiometabolic Risks in Hispanic Farmworkers (CHARM) Study). With a full complement of inter-professional faculty and student teams, its core mission is to provide student training and to promote the health of the Hispanic farm-workers.

We explored the key factors in the process of knowledge transfer between MNC’s HQ and foreign subsidiaries, and suggested a new model called as a three gaps model of intra-MNC’s knowledge transfer. Even the importance of knowledge transfer is widely acknowledged, there are limited empirical works about emerging MNCs. Our finding canhelpmanagers of emerging MNCs effectively control foreign subsidiaries and successfully achieve knowledge transfer.

Characterization of pearl millet germplasm is imperative for categorization of germplasm and identification of the desirable genotypes for introgression into breeding programs. The available pearl millet genetic resources from Nigeria, and especially photoperiodsensitive materials or stay-green traits, have so far been exploited only to a limited extent. The present study was undertaken for initial morphological and phonological characterization of unexploited ‘maiwa’ or stay-green pearl millet accession in geographical gaps of Nigeria, to ensure high precision in future genotyping and phenotyping. The germplasm displayed considerable variability for Downy mildew severity,,days to 50 % flowering, plant height, panicle length and grain weight. There was no significant differences to striga infestation since there was no experience of striga emergence, suggesting resistance.

Most parents give mobile phones to their children because they rely on giving mobile phones will keep them safe in case of any emergency. But using a mobile phone can make much dangerous significances in other hand. It can make a child an easy target for Cyber bullies, predators and exposure to explicit material and sexing. This system designed to offer a better relief to the parent, which consists of two modules, android application and the web server infrastructure. Parent can monitor SMS, incoming and outgoing calls, websites visited and the location of each child separately. Child can be more motivated to doing the tasks allocated by parent because according to their performances they can receive ratings. It will help child to self-motivated and increase their enactments. Through the web server infrastructure, the parent will allow viewing all above tracking data, as well as will allow to view how the progress of the child from secure parent web account by providing the child IMIE, since every child is separated from their IMIE. Our main objective is providing a better solution to the most challenging problem that the parent face to protecting child from misusing the mobile phones.

MRI-based investigations represent, to date, very powerful approaches for the study of the brain. One set of tools, provided by diffusion MRI, allows the non-invasive analysis of structural aspects of gray and white matter, by analyzing how water molecules diffuse within the brain. Although number of clinical studies employing diffusion MRI has grown in last years, some aspects still result poorly known or poorly understood by unfamiliar researchers and clinicians, due to their technical complexity. The main goal of the present work is to resume the main landmarks of diffusion MRI investigation and to show the current state as well as future perspectives of related methodologies.
