Calix[4]arenes can be modified to produce materials which can capture and remove contaminants effectively such as herbicides. Chlorophenoxy acids have been selected out of groups of herbicides to carry out this investigation. A new calix[4]arene derivative containing mixed pendant arms in its lower rim, 5, 11, 17, 23- tetra- butyl- 25,27- bis (diethylamino) ethoxy- 26, 28- (bis-methoxyethoxy) calix [4] arene (L2), has been synthesized. 1H NMR investigations seems to indicate that the receptor L2 interacts with acid herbicides. Conductometric measurements were performed in acetonitrile at 298 K. In all cases, 1:2 (ligand: acid herbicide) complexes are formed. Standard thermodynamics parameters of complexation (log Ks, ΔHᵒ c, ΔSᵒ c, ΔGᵒ c) of L2 with herbicides in acetonitrile were determined using the Nano ITC (isothermal titration calorimetry). For all the systems investigated, the complexation process between these acid herbicides and the receptor L2 was enthalpically controlled.
Yorùbá people relish in interspersing their utterances with proverbs. Hardly can a typical Yorùbá man or woman utter three sentences without putting in a proverb. Hence, Yorùbá say: ‘Òwelẹṣinọ̀ rọ̀ ,ọ̀ rọ̀ lẹṣinòwe, bọ́ rọ̀ bá sọnù, òwe la fi n ́ wa’ translated to mean that ‘proverb is the vehicle through which issues are resolved. However, Yoruba proverbs are not just strung together haphazardly; they follow some particular syntactic rules of the grammar of the language. These syntactic rules give some aesthetic values to proverbs usage in the languge. This paper is set to discuss the various syntactic forms that many of the Yorùbá proverbs manifest. We also look at the implication of the syntactic rules upon which these proverbs are hinged and how these rules are applied to structures to conform to the wellformedness condition of Yoruba grammatical sentences
Network Security has a major role in the development of data communication system, where more randomization in the secret keys increases the security as well as the complexity of the cryptography algorithms. In the recent years network security has become an important issue. Cryptography has come up as a solution which plays a vital role in the information security system against various attacks. This security mechanism uses the AES algorithm to scramble data into unreadable text which can only be decrypted with the associated key. The AES algorithm is limited only for text as an input. It also has, the more time complexity. So it suffers from vulnerabilities associated with another type of input and time constraints. So its challenge to implement the AES algorithm for various types of input and require less decryption time. The propose work demonstrate implementation of a 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), which consists of both symmetric key encryption and decryption algorithms for input as a text, image and audio. It also gives less time complexity as compared to existing one. At the last stage comparing the time complexity for encryption and decryption process for all three types of input. This paper also demonstrates a side channel attack on the standard software implementation of the AES cryptographic algorithm.de
In this paper I derive the formula from the first order differential balance equation. In Numerical methods we are finding the missing values and derivativs from the available data by using different formula. One can solve problem directly using balance equation.
Aims: This study investigates the first emergence of S almonella outbreaks among 8.000 broiler chicks, of the ‘ Ross’ breed, in Sudan. Mortality was observed in 25% of the t otal chicks; therefore, samples were taken for culturing, i dentification and characterization of the causative agent. Study design: A total of 52 random samples, out of 2000 i nfected broiler chicks, were cultured and identified. The study was undertaken in the laboratories of the Veterinary Research Institute, Ministry of animal resources and fisheries, Khartoum as well as Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, University of Khartoum, Sudan during March 2014- December 2014. Results: All of the 52 isolates have shown colony characteristic t ypical to Salmonella spp. Result of the Vitek2 compact system s howed that isolate was typical Salmonella enterica. The p rimer pairs targeting invA and hilA genes successfully a mplified the extracted DNA giving the specific amplicons.
The study was conducted to describe sheep husbandry practices and production system and to assess major constraint in Dawuro zone and Konta special woreda of South Nations Nationalities and Peoples Regional State of Ethiopia. A total of 180 households were selected purposively for characterization of the production system. Sampling frame was established in a multistage clustered sampling procedure in compliance with the main indigenous sheep types of the study area. A structured questionnaire, group discussion and secondary sources were used to gather data on sheep production system and husbandry practices. The result showed that most of the households heads are males (83.3%-96.7%) and mixed crop-livestock system are the dominant production system. Among the livestock species, sheep accounted for the largest proportion (35.9%-50.2%) in the study area, and the average sheep flock size ranged from 9.72 in Mareka to 11.35 in Tocha.
This study investigates the work-life balance status of female garment workers of Bangladesh. The study reveals that both family and job of female garment workers of Bangladesh are being affected due to work-life balance situation. But, familial life is more affected due to job. Thus, work interference with family is more of an issue than family interference with work for the female garment workers in Bangladesh. Finally, the study suggests good salary, reduced work load, residential facility (near to workplace/factory), transport facility, child care center, flexible working hours (roistered days off and family friendly starting and finishing times) and child schooling facility for female garment workers of Bangladesh with a view to improve their work-life balance status.
Proper and planned industrialization for any country can help to earn its expected GDP growth rate and minimize the unemployment rate. Industrial sector basically consists of manufacturing, together with utilities (gas, electricity, and water) and construction. But all these components to establish any industry are not available concurrently that only guarantee Sylhet. Here this study is conducted to identify the opportunities to generate the potential industrial sectors into Sylhet that ensures the proper utilization of idle money, cheap labor, abundant natural gas, and other infrastructural facilities. This industrialization process in Sylhet will not only release from the hasty expansion of industries into Dhaka, Chittagong but also focuses it to be an imminent economic hub ofthe country. As a pertinent step, this study analyzed the trend of gas utilization in different sectors and suggests the highest potential and capacity for utilizing gas after fulfilling the demand of gas all over the country. Though Sylhet has abundant natural resources and enormous potentials for developing gas-based industries, it has also some notable barriers which could easily be overcome if all things go in the same horizontal pattern. This paper concludes with suggestions that Sylhet could undertake the full advantage of different gas distribution and transmission companies and proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) as well for sustaining the momentum.
During the 21 Century public education in the U.S.A. has become increasingly problematic. This effort will point to a variety of interrelated social factors figuring among: Social Class; English Language Acquisition parents’ educational level, and parent involvement in their child’s education. This effort also provides a unique socio/cultural percentage matrix for academic success within the public school sector.
This paper analyzed the Jihadists mindset, perception and view on the conflict opposing the West and the Arab world. This paper perceived this war to be cultural, religious, ideologicaland economic between western countries and the Middle East. This perception although distortedis important for a deep understanding of the attitudes, motives and behaviors patters of theJihadists. The understanding of the perception of the conflict between the West and the MiddleEast was important in the prospect of reducing acts of violence and terror and building peacebetween the West and the Middle East. The war on terror will not be won by military solutiononly. This paper points to the needs of shifting the American foreign policy to a more sustainablecommunity building and development approach. The latter has the advantage of bringing anotherside of the West so that people in the Middle East and abroad can begin to see on the west not only the invader but as a true partner who is willing to help in development project such as housing, food, education, and healthcare.
