The most essential and fundamental key to any successful customer relationship management (CRM) investment is information quality. Even the most sophisticated system in the world will ultimately fail without high quality information residing within the system. In today’s business world where information is the ultimate currency, the higher quality the information, the more valuable and powerful the information is to those who possess it. Good and accurate information is the most important factor in determining how successful a company is in its usage of the CRM application. A successful CRM strategy is primarily determined by the quality of information residing in the application. High quality information is essential to a company that manages its sales and marketing goals using a CRM system.
An overuse of agro-chemicals in rice production has caused serious problems on biodiversity loss, water pollution, public health impacts and yield losses. Recently, the outbreaks of brown-plant hoppers was a great matter of concern. To deal with these issues, the use of ecological engineering was introduced in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam since 2009. However, there were no study on the potential benefits of the model in terms of technical efficiency. Hence, the objective of this study is to estimate and compare the technical efficiency of ecologically engineered rice farmers to those with traditional rice by using stochastic frontier analysis. We have found that the eco rice farmers had higher input and output-oriented technical efficiency scores but insignificant compared to those with normal rice. The mean output-oriented technical efficiency of eco rice was 91.5%, which was 1% higher than that of traditional rice, 90.5%. Further, the mean input-oriented technical efficiency score of eco rice was 85% while only 83.5% for normal rice. The study suggests that the eco rice farmers need more efforts to expand output levels while the normal rice counterparts need to contract inputs level to improve productive efficiency and profits as well. The possible solution for the eco rice are not to use IR50404 variety. To improve the efficiency, the normal rice farmers need to cultivate three crops per year and to use OM6976 variety.
The purpose of well screens and gravel packs is to maintain open access within the aquifer ensuring that thorough development of the well is not impeded by sand. Where a well draws on unconsolidated sands and gravels, or other friable materials. The production section is characterized by mainly medium to coarse grained sandstone, the uniformity coefficient efficient ranging from 1.44 to 2.14, and the installation of a screen and pack is essential. The use of correctly designed equipment is important and this paper represents a review of the diverse types available, but does not set out to make any recommendations. These type of screen, commonly known as wire–wrap is usually manufactured from type 304 stainless steel, galvanized steel and coated screens have been introduced seeking to inhibit corrosion resistant alloy. The surface area of opening of this type of screen used with aperture sized 0.75 mm necessary to control fine sands from thick aquifer. The screen entrance velocity it was calculated 0.030 m/s.
Smoked Clarias gariepinus from four major markets in the southwest, Nigeria were analyzed. The aim was to evaluate the nutritional values of the fish sold at the different markets. The results of the analyses showed that the nutritional values of the smoked fish are of good standard but nutritional and mineral compositions varied from market to market. The moisture content, protein, fat, fibre, ash and carbohydrate contents from the markets were in the range of 9.63 to 10.27%, 53.77 to 54.77%, 11.77 to 13.13%, 6.87 to 8.00%, 0.0 to 0.07% and 15.40 to 16.17% respectively. The range of the mineral compositions was 10.13 to 12.17mg/100g, 0.33 to 0.50mg/100g, 28.33 to 46.67mg/100g, 353.33 to 388.33mg/100g, 22.33 to 33.33mg/100g, and 271.67 to 305.00mg/100g for iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium, potassium and phosphorus respectively. Ascorbic acid, thiamine, niacin and riboflavin contents of the fish were in range of 0.17 to 0.27mg/100g, 0.05 to 0.07mg/100g, 0.24 to 0.28mg/100g, and 0.05 to 0.08mg/100g respectively.
Cloud- induced fading is occasional but one of the main impairments affecting free– space optics (FSO). In this paper, the bit error rate of intensity modulated FSO with direct detection (IM/DD) in single–input single–output (SISO) over Ray Leigh fading channels has been represented. It has been assumed that a single information-bearing signal is transmitted over fading channels. Only the effects of amplitude fluctuation have been considered. The expression for BER by finding the conditional probability of Bit Error has been expressed, for given amplitude fading and then averaging the conditional probability. The analytical derivations are built upon by considering that perfect inter symbol interference (ISI) due to broadening of the optical pulses arriving at the receiver. The performance of the FSO link by quantifying BER for different carrier wavelengths and for various transmission bit rate of the communication over cloud-induced fading channel has been investigated

We analyze the single cycle and multiple cycles of confirming storage and factoring financing portfolio and introduce their business process. Then from the perspective of banks and medium and small companies, we construct the model of cost-benefit analysis to figure out the influential factors of the cost and benefit of both parties. Next we compare the ROE of both parties in the single supply chain financial product with that in the portfolio based on the single cycle of the portfolio. Finally we apply the dynamic game theory to produce the equilibrium point to assist decision making. This study shows that the net profits of both the banks and money-borrowing companies are better in the confirming storage and factoring financing portfolio comparing to single factoring financing, which indicates a Pareto improvement. The ROE of money-borrowing companies increase as the ratio of first deposit increases.
This research investigated how feedback is implemented in the English language classes of the Bengali Medium Secondary Schools. In research studies, it has been shown that feedback is an essential component in all learning contexts and serves a variety of purposes including evaluation of students’ achievements, development of students’ competences and understanding, and elevation of students’ motivation and confidence. By investigating from the perspectives of both the teachers and the students, this research attempted to find out the present conditions of teachers’ feedback in the classroom setting that is trying to reduce the discrepancy between the current and desired amount of learning for the students to bridge their learning gap. This research conducted both qualitative and quantitative study that are reflected in the students’ surveys and teachers’ interviews which are analyzed with individual interpretation and comparison between the non – government and government Bengali medium schools on basis of the research questions.
The kinetics and mechanism of oxidation of N, α- diphenylnitrones by some substituted nitrones by Pyrazolinium dichromateyielding benzaldehyde and nitrosobenzene in aqueous dimethyl sulphoxidemedium have been investigated. First order dependence with respect to both [PyDC] and [NO]. The compound was prepared and purity of the oxidant was estimated by iodometric method. The reaction is fractional order with respect to [H+]. Electron-releasing substituents increase the rate of the reaction and electron withdrawing substituents decrease the rate of the reaction. No polymerisation observed with acrylamide ruling out a free radical mechanism. There was no discernible effect with increasing in ionic strength but the rate of oxidation decreased with decreasing dielectric constant of the medium. Addition of MnSO4 had a significant and acrylonitrile no effect on the reaction rate.
This study is an investigation of the effects foreign investments have on exchange rate in Nigeria. The work covered a period of 1987-2012 using annual data from Central Bank of Nigeria statistical bulletin. A growth model via the Ordinary Least Square method was used to ascertain the relationship between foreign investment inflows and exchange rate in Nigeria. Its main objective is to find the impact which foreign investments, decomposed into foreign direct investment (FDI) and foreign portfolio investment (FPI) have on exchange rate and the bidirectional influences between them. Of course, several studies have endeavored to examine the determinants of exchange rate in Nigeria. This study contributes to the literature by examining a possible determinant of exchange rate that has received less attention in the literature: foreign investment inflows. This paper examines this relationship with a view to determining the extent to which FDI and FPI effect exchange rate in Nigeria employing the Granger causality and OLS techniques. The Granger Causality test further provides insight on the causal direction of the variables. Whereas the causality tests suggest no statistical dependence between both FDI and FPI and exchange rate, the regression analyses reveals exchange rate follows FPI though not significantly while FDI has an insignificant inverse relationship with exchange rate.
