Objective: This paper identifies the factors that predict payment of a bribe to the police at the individual level in Kenya. Scope: Based on a survey of 2,399 respondents, the study’s dependent variable isself-reportedpayment of bribes to the police. Independent variables include bribesto receive various public services, and selected social and demographic indicators. The analysis is restricted to those persons who self-reportedpaying a bribe compared to those that possibly could have, but did not report paying a bribe. Major Findings: The most important finding was the analysis confirmedthe literature’s suggestion aboutthe existence of a culture of bribery in Kenya; multiple respondents reported paying multiple bribes. The payment of bribes to receive documents was the strongest predictor of payment of police bribes in the logistical regression analysis, and was just the tip of the iceberg. Conclusion: The findings related to the payment of police bribes and payment of bribes in other service provision areas were exceedingly strong. However, these findings do not apply to the entire country, and are limited to areas of Kenya which have more developed intra-structures.
The kinetics of thermal decomposition of samarium and praseodymium hexadecanoate (palmitate) was found to be of zero order and the energy of activation for the decomposition reaction for samarium and praseodymium hexadecanoate was in the range of 30-35 KJ mol-1 .The X-ray analysis showed that samarium and praseodymium hexadecanoate soaps have double layer structure with molecular axis slightly inclined to the basal plane. The IR results confirmed that the fatty acids exists with dimeric structure through hydrogen bonding between the carboxyl groups of two acid molecules, whereas the metal soaps have an ionic character.
The author establish a set of four presumbaly new results which depict the inter-relationship between Infinite Product Identities, Continued-Fraction Identities and Combinatorial Partition Identities. Several closely related q-identities such as (for example) Jacobi’s triple-product identity are also considered.

In this paper life satisfaction of highly qualified professionally achieving (HQPA) aging women post retirement is investigated. Respondents were 306 HQPA older women who were surveyed in the city of Mumbai. The Satisfaction with Life scale, Silver Lining Questionnaire and Meaning in Life Questionnaire were used. Results showed variations on life satisfaction as a result of certain independent socio-demographic variables and the type of careers that HQPA women retired from. Findings have relevance for designing and promoting different types of activity engagement for HQPA older women. This is a move away from the solely poverty focused approach to addressing issues of aging population in India. Implications for practice with HQPA older women have also been discussed.
Physical Unclonable Functions (PUFs) are circuits that exploit chip-unique features to be used as signatures which can be used as good silicon biometrics. These signatures are based on semiconductor fabrication variations that are very difficult to control or reproduce. These chipunique signatures together with strong challenge-response authentication algorithm can be used to authenticate and secure chips. This paper expands the security avenues covered by PUF and FPGAs by introducing a new class of concept called “Soft PUFs.” This scheme propose robust challenge- response authentication solution based on a PUF device that provides stronger security guarantees to the user than what previously could be achieved. By exploiting the silicon uniqueness of each FPGA device and incorporating a special authentication algorithms in existing FPGA fabric, FPGA based embedded systems can be used for new security-oriented and network- oriented applications that were not previously possible or thought of.
A 9 year old child diagnosed as a case of Nonverbal Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at 2 years of age started speaking normally and coherently for the first time in his life with 20 Remote Healing sessions using the method of Applied Energy Medicine with Intent Healing(TM).
Current IT services were built to serve a static and functionally concrete operating replica. In future prospects IT needs to become much more dynamically adaptable to maintain pace with the speed of business today. However, when cloud is considered in the context of a hybrid model of combining both the on-premise with Internet-services, then the value of the cloud in its broadest definition becomes incredibly empowering.[1][2] Hybrid solutions combine the benefits of public cloud infrastructure (speed and agility of development) with private cloud resources (security and control). In, this paper we have given the power of Hybrid Cloud Computing.
Discourses at all major academic forums, huge concern have been raised regarding lack of readiness for social and professional life in school and college pass outs. Education systems around the world realized need to reorient education towards learning skills for work and life, invariably referred as core or generic or 21st century skills. Thinking skills predominantly occupy the suggestive list of skills required for success in 21st Century. Growing emphases on thinking skills necessitated to design innovative school curricula, integrated teaching-learning processes and a technically robust assessment system. This paper draws on global policy debates, discussion papers and conceptual frameworks proposed by different groups. It analyses relevant conceptual frameworks in order to evaluate significance of component sub-skills. It highlights the issues associated with evidence-based teaching-learning and
