TTP is a very uncommon disease which used to have very high mortality and morbidity before the introduction of plasmapharesis and immunosup-pressant therapy. Even after the introduction of these modalities, atypical HUS patients had a very grave prognosis and ultimately led to death in many until the introduction of complement inhibitors like eculizumab which is C5a monoclonal antibody. Additionally differentiating typical HUS versus atypical HUS was very difficult but some work on complement markers can be very fruitful in differentiating them.
Country like India, where tradition, rituals and culture still hold a significant value and importance, crafts have been able to retain its essential matter in the form of many definitions, according to individuals, groups and organisations. Handicrafts commonly refer to hand-made artisan crafts or artisanry. Skilled people create different kinds of items starting from consumer goods to pretty pieces out of paper, wood, clay, shells, rock, stone, metal etc. with the help of simple tools. These kinds of items are called handicrafts owing to the fact that these crafted items are exclusively hand-made without the usage of any machine.
This paper is written with aim to point out the local level hurdles and socio-cultural factors responsible for malfunctioning of Devolution Plan. The authors have their professional impression on the basis of empirical data from local level community interactions that development of any nation or region is only possible when there is a distinct demarcation between development activities and interventions to be managed by top developmental intelligentsia or by just enhancing local level participation and sense of ownership. Historically, the province of Punjab witnessed a local level selfreliant approach to manage its livelihoods. The same if revitalized could help bring people realize that they have control over their resources (both social and natural) and they are capable enough to plan for the improvements in their livelihoods according to the ever-changing socioenvironmental conditions. The local government concept is not new to the land rather it has a long history; devolution plan is merely a new approach into it. The barriers described in current papers debar realization of true and effective local level development, self reliance and social empowerment through meaningful decentralization.
Iris recognition is proving to be one of the most reliable biometric traits for personal identification. In fact, iris patterns have stable, invariant and distinctive features for personal identification. Reliable authorization and authentication are becoming necessary for many everyday applications. Iris recognition has been paid more attention due to its high reliability in personal identification. But iris feature extraction is easily affected by some practical factors, such as inaccurate localization, occlusion, and nonlinear elastic deformation. The objective of the study and proposed work is to adapt the increasing usage of biometric systems which can reduce the iris preprocessing and describe iris local properties effectively and have encouraging iris recognition performance. This work presents an efficient algorithm of iris feature extraction based on modified scale invariant feature transform algorithm (SIFT) .
WPAN is the most advanced communication network that combines the capabilities of Mobile network and sensor network in a complex global area scenario. This network defines various integrated processes under communication scenario specification. Cluster Selection process is the most common requirement of any WPAN scenario because of the mobility feature for vehicle nodes. In this work, an effective soft-Cluster Selection mechanism is defined under positional and communication parameter analysis. The work is defined for global highway scenario. The obtained results from system shows the effective comm-unication rate and lesser communication loss.
Objective: To evaluate the effect of inspiratory muscle training (IMT) on inspiratory muscle strength, and quality of life in patients with congestive heart failure. Background: Inspiratory muscle training is a technique that is designed to improve pulmonary function, level of dyspnea, inspiratory muscle strength and endurance, limb blood flow, six minutes walking distance, exercise tolerance, as well as health related quality of life in congestive heart failure patients. In our study we used maximal inspiratory pressure as a measure of the strength of inspiratory muscles. Methods: Thirty male patients were randomly selected from Cairo university hospitals (critical care department), their ages ranged from 50 to 65 years. They were divided into two equal groups: study and control group ,fifteen patients for each group, each patient of the study group received both inspiratory muscles training for 30 min and routine chestphysical therapy for 15 min with frequency five sessions per week for one month, each patient of the control group received only routine chestphysical therapy for 15 min with frequency five sessions per week for one month, All patients are clinically and medically stable as they were on standard cardiac medications all over the study. Pre and post study maximal inspiratory pressure(PImax) and quality of life assessment was done for each patient of both groups. Results: Despite the homogeneity between the study and control groupsas regard age, weight, height, quality of life and in baseline PImax(P-Value=NS) and despite significant improvement in PImax post treatment compared to pre treatment values in both groups (P value=0.0001 for study group and 0.01 for control group) this improvement was significantly higher in the study group compared to the control group (54.93±11.17 vs 46.8±9.26 cmH2O respectively, Pvalue=0.03). Quality of life Scoresalso showed signific-antimprovement post treatment when compared to pre treatment values in both study and co
There is no doubt that the tropical rainforest and its floristic richness is being faced with enormous challenges. The rainforest is being destroyed by man for various purposes – agriculture, urbanization, fuelwood gathering and logging among others. Also, the increasing trend in the population structure of the people inhabiting the rainforest area has contributed significantly to its destruction. Thus, considering the inestimable value of the rich flora diversity of the rainforest, this paper therefore using relevant secondary sources of data tried to examine the rate of loss of the rainforest ecosystem and its rich flora diversity as well as examining the various forms of utilization of the flora species by the local people inhabiting the rainforest. So that their destruction becomes a very serious concern as there seem to be little or no effort to conserve these flora species for future generation.
Ethnic consideration has been comprehensively substantiated as a major trait in determining the political sustainability in Nigeria. Historically, the British overlord in 1914 saw forceful nuptials as a political necessity to safeguard and consolidate divergence ethnic pluralism, hypothesizing the dawn of ethnic consciousness in Nigerian political life. Military intervention in politics as an extra-legal and conspiratorial subjugation of government has been conventionally reprimanded as an aberration, despite their forbidden operational values in political engagements, various countries of the world such as Nigeria, France, Ghana, Uganda, Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Thailand, Iraq, Libya, Algeria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, Russia, just to mention a few, have experienced military skyjacking of political power at one time or the other, therefore, this paper, discusses how ethnicity influences military takeover and civil war in Nigeria. Methodology espoused in carrying out this study was heavily derived from both secondary sources and insightful empirical observation of military trends in Nigeria. The study provides comprehensive critiques of ethnic nationalism in military governance which escorted the major ceaseless coup d’états and civil war in Nigeria. It is evident that major coordinated military coups have been splotched with ethnic gluttony which culminated into civil war, aimed at controlling the central political power, while thwarting socio-economic and political exertions in Nigeria. This paper therefore concludes that selective killings in military governance which journeyed through civil war exacerbated ethnic distrust among the major contending dominant groups (Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba) that ensuing protracted social unrest and general insecurity in Nigerian boisterous political odysse

This research also shows that the number of women being sexually bullied in the workforce is very much higher than men.
the financial activities of Amman stock market and the market value of its prices, through identify the nature of weighted market value index and the market value prices, and the nature of the stock trading size and the market value prices beside identify the relationship between the companies numbers listed in the stock market and the market value prices during the period of 1998-2011. Securities markets get important issue in the world, because it present opportunity place to maximize the wealth by short time but it has high risk, where it needs financial knowledge and culture and economic analysis for the listed companies listed.
