Considering widely use of three-phase induction motors in industry, commercial and residential applications and the probability that they may exposed to the unbalanced voltages, it is very important to clarify the effects of voltage unbalance on the performance of them.In this paper, authors simulated a three phase squirrel cage induction motor under six types of unbalanced voltages with same VUF combined with under voltage or over voltage in one or more phases using two-dimensional finite element method. Electromagnetic torque of the mentioned motor analyzed and effects of voltage unbalance on its average torque and torque ripple investigated and also, emphasized to detect unbalance condition, torque frequency analysis can be used.
This study investigates the impact of organizational change on the marketing strategies of change in Jordanian commercial banks.It aims to identify the forms of change that face the banking business, as well as the marketing strategies of change adopted to deal with any occurring form of change that affects banking business.This study seeks to clarify the most recurrent types of organizational change facing commercial banks, and to illustrate the effect of these types in choosing the appropriate marketing strategy of change. Three hypotheses were proposed in accordance with the dimensions and model of this study. For the purpose of gathering data necessary for the implementation of the study, a questionnaire of (45) questions covering the dimension of this study was drawn up. The questionnaire was distributed to (65) branch and executive managers, (55) of them were complete and valid for statistical analysis. All hypotheses of this study have been accepted, as change was deemed a strategic direction adopted by banks management; and that there is a correlation between the impact of organizational change and banking business; and that there is a positive relation between forms of change and marketing strategies of change for some forms and an opposite relation for the others; and that technical change was the most positive in terms of relation with marketing strategies of change.
The object of this paper is to determine the role played by the financial development in the effect of capital flows on real effective exchange rates. Our object is based on the idea that a developed financial market allows a better allocation of resources. Using the methodology of dynamic panel co-integration for 38 developed and developing countries covering the period 1989-2011, the results show that in the long run the development of the financial sector can weaken the appreciation effect of capital flows on real effective exchange rates. Through the calculation of the threshold value, we can conclude that from a certain threshold of the indicators of financial development the capital flows can have a real depreciation effect on exchange rates.
Gait analysis is very significant for early diagnosis of gait diseases and treatment assessment. Gait analysis is used to assess, plan and to treat the individuals with conditions affecting their ability to walk. In recent years, doctors gain more clarity and exact disease assessment by means of machine learning technologies and this has gained much application of gait analysis. The patients suffering from movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease (PD), Huntington’s disease (HD), and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) can best be diagnosed by gait analysis. For these reasons, analysis of the above said diseases are taken into consideration. In this paper we propose an effective method for detection of movement disorders using multi SVM technique.
Thispaper continues the study of infinite dimensional bicomplex Hilbert spaces introduced in previous articles on the topic. Besides obtaining a Best Approximation Theorem, themain purpose of this paper is to obtain a bicomplex analogue of the Riesz-Fischer Theorem. There are many statements of the Riesz-Fischer (R-F) Theorem in the literature, some are equivalent, some are consequences of the original versions. The one referred to in this paper is the R-F Theorem which establishes that the spaces is the canonical model space.
Irrigation development is a gateway to increased agricultural, water and land productivity, increased household and national food security. However, irrigation development has been a major challenge in many developing countries, including Egypt. The overall objective of this study is to detect the influence of different irrigation systems on water-use efficiency, crop and soil salinity in highly soil salinity. Two techniques were applied in experiment, the first technique was siphon irrigation, and the second one was pipeline with gates. The monitored parameters were water table depth, water and soil salinity and crop yield. The total leaching water requirements was given to control the salinity and the crop production. The study revealed that the cotton crop yield was higher by 17% with gate pipeline treatment compared to siphon irrigation treatment. The total soil salinity increased in both treatments. The siphon method gives highest value of total salinity at all seasons. This method increased the salinity by 2.7% while the pipeline with gate increased the salinity by 12.9%. Convergence the value of the crop coefficient in all relations used in most stages of growth, except Penman relationship which gave the highest values

Certain globally recognized factors required to outstand as a company are still valid for MNC’s operating in Pakistan, whereas contextual factors cannot be overlooked. Mobilink is conscious about its operations which is one of the top companies of Pakistan in telecom sector. Ufone and Telenor are fighting to be the number 2. This is a serious threat for Ufone as it has been on number 2 till 2007 till replaced by Telenor, even though it entered almost at the same time aswarid which is at number 4 in the competition. Instaphone collapsed as it did not respond timely to technology, opportunities, and exploitation of others ideas, neither paid enough attention to bringing value addition to their services or packages which caused customer dissatisfaction and eventually ended in losing customers to competitors.
This work is an attempt to examine empirically the best ARIMA model for forecasting. Average daily share price indices of the data series of Square Pharmaceuticals Limited (SPL) have been used for this purpose. At first the stationarity condition of the data series are observed by ACF and PACF plots, then checked using the Statistics such as Ljung-Box-Pierce Q-statistic and Dickey-Fuller test statistic. It has been found that the average daily share price indices of the data series of Square Pharmaceuticals Limited (SPL) are non-stationary. The average daily share price indices of SPL data series are non-stationary even after log-transformation. But after taking first difference of logarithmic values of SPL data series, the same types of plots and the same types of statistics show that the data is stationary. The best ARIMA model have been selected by using the criteria such as AIC, AICc, SIC, AME, RMSE and MAPE etc. To select the best ARIMA model the data split into two periods, viz. estimation period and validation period. The model for which the values of criteria are smallest is considered as the best model. Hence, ARIMA (2, 1, and 2) is found as the best model for forecasting the SPL data series. Then, forecasts of the data have been made using selected type of ARIMA model. Finally, the values of ADSPI of SPL up to February 2012 are predicted and reported in the study.
The need of increasing the capacity of data transmitted within the fiber transmission links became a challenge for researcher. Even though optical fiber communication is the best communication system in transmitting high data rate but still users are hungry thus the researchers are pushing to get the highest bit rate. While the fiber channel may be capable of transmitting terabit-per-second data rates, no existing single communication system can make complete use of this speed. One of the main concerns in an optical network is the high cost of installation of components. The global network is made of a large submarine cable network that is expensive to modify and repair. An alternative solution to this is Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) where each modulated signal is transmitted at an individual frequency, allowing full duplex data transmission. In WDM systems the available fiber bandwidth is divided into separate channels with each channel carrying one signal,thus increasing the overall data rate without increasing the number of fibers. The data rate of each channel can be limited, but with many channels the total data rate is considerably higher.WDM has not always been a popular choice. The invention of Erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA) with large bandwidth is largely responsible for popularizing this technique. In terms of multiwavelength signals, so long as the EDFA has enough pump energy available to it, it can amplify as many optical signals as can be multiplexed into its amplification band. These properties of EDFAs have enabled us to use Dense WDM (DWDM) technique, which uses denser channel spacing in order to achieve even higher bit rate. It is an interesting solution is to double the capacity of each fiber by using a duplexer. It is a system capable of duplex communication over a single fiber in contrast to two fibers required in the present scenario. The discussion in the current debate primarily explores the major areas in Islamic discourses that are criticized by scholars and critics. The current debate aims to investigate and illuminate the true and transparent Islamic picture of the areas (criticized) by the western school of feminism. An attempt has been made to link the debate in the prevailing scholarships to find out the relevant answer to the questions put forward by the mentioned feminists and to develop a paradigm more harmonious and acceptable in the old discourses. Besides, the debate encompasses valuable inputs and provides an argument that leads to mediation between the two poles of controversies.
