The design of web information extraction systems becomes more complex and time-consuming. Detection of data region is a significant problem for information extraction from the web page. In this paper, an approach to vision-based deep web data extraction is proposed for web document clustering. The proposed approach comprises of two phases: 1) Vision-based web data extraction, and 2) web document clustering. In phase 1, the web page information is segmented into various chunks. From which, surplus noise and duplicate chunks are removed using three parameters, such as hyperlink percentage, noise score and cosine similarity. Finally, the extracted keywords are subjected to web document clustering using Fuzzy c-means clustering (FCM).
The term E-Votingǁ is used in variety of different ways and it encompasses all voting techniques involving electronic voting equipments, voting over the internet, using electronic booths in polling stations and sometimes even counting of paper ballots. A voting system that can be proven correct has many concerns. The basic reasons for a government to use electronic systems are to increase election activities and to reduce the election expenses. Still there is some scope of work in electronic voting system in terms of checking the authenticity of voters and securing electronic voting machine from miscreants. Biometrics is automated tool for verifying the identity of a person based on a physiological or behavioral characteristic. It has the capability to reliably distinguish between an authorized person and an imposter. Since biometric characteristics are distinctive, can not be forgotten or lost and the person to be authenticated needs to be physically present at the point of identification, biometrics is inherently more reliable and more capable than traditional knowledgebased and token-based techniques. In this paper, we have proposed a model to enhance the security of electronic voting system by incorporating fast and accurate biometric technique to prevent an unauthorized person to vote.
Stock index futures sometimes suffer from ‘a negative cost-of-carry’ bias, as future prices of stock index frequently trade less than their theoretical value that include carrying costs. Since commencement of Nifty future trading in India, Nifty future always traded below the theoretical prices. This distortion of future prices also spills over to option pricing and increase difference between actual price of Nifty options and the prices calculated using the famous Black-Scholes formula. Fisher Black tried to address the negative cost of carry effect by using forward prices in the option pricing model instead of spot prices. Black’s model is found useful for valuing options on physical commodities where discounted value of future price was found to be a better substitute of spot prices as an input to value options. In this study the theoretical prices of Nifty options using both Black Formula and Black-Scholes Formula were compared with actual prices in the market. It was observed that for valuing Nifty Options, Black Formula had given better result compared to Black-Scholes.
This paper presents a study, optimization and simulation of tunable bandpass filter centered at 2.4GHz and used as phase shifter based on coupled microstrip square ring loaded by varactor diodes. We have performed an electromagnetic simulation on Momentum software of ADSTM; we have used the power of the Momentum software for the optimization and simulation of our circuit. A good results were obtained; the filter results in an insertion loss of 0.35 dB−0.26 dB over tuning range and 3−dB b andwidth o f 3 00MHz−360MHz. W e c ompute a f ractional bandwidth between 13% and 14.5% for our circuit and for different value of capacitance. We compute also a good dynamic range of phase shifting about 90° at operating frequency 2.4GHz for different value of capacitance.
This paper presents a component based development (CBD) model for each iteration of software development. Risk management is a major part of software planning and risk tracking is one of the important functions of risk management and without proper tracking, it is quite difficult to control risk. Software industry is more deeply in recent years about it. From the beginning of the development to the end of the development assessing the software quality and assurance of software quality become an important, with this regards in this proposed paper a novel evolutionary algorithm is used for a feasible solution.
The banking sector is viewed as an important source of financing for many businesses. In order to appraise and weigh up the soundness and reliability of banking industry, the information on the risk and how the fluctuations are managed are important to consider. Among the financial risks liquidity risk of the bank are crucial to consider. Appalling financial condition of the banks can lead to decreasing the value of bank. Managing the liquidity risk is required to be monitored and managed effectively and cautiously. Liquidity management is part of the larger risk management of the banking sector, whether they are conventional or Islamic. This study investigated the size of the bank, Non-performing loan ratio (NPL), return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), capital adequacy ratio (CAR) with the liquidity risk of conventional and Islamic banks of Pakistan. The study is done on the secondary data for the period 2007-2010. The study found the significant and positive relation of CAR, ROA, ROE and size of the bank with the liquidity risk in both the models, whereas the negative and significant relation of NPL is observed in both the models.
A simple, sensitive, accurate, precise, reproducible and cost effective UV spectroscopic method has been developed for the estimation of Pioglitazone hydrochloride in bulk and tablet dosage form. Pioglitazone hydrochloride shows maximum absorption at 269 nm with molar absorptivity of 9.6013 × 104 l/mol.cm. Beer’s law was obeyed in the concentration range of 10-70 μg/ml. The method was validated for linearity, precision, accuracy, sensitivity and specificity. The data obtained was treated with the statistical approach. The proposed method was found to be accurate and precise for estimation of Pioglitazone hydrochloride in bulk and tablet dosage form.
Now day’s automation systems are very common to each and every field of human life. Humans want to lead a leisure full life. The theme work of this paper is also based on this idea. The idea is to automate the appliances using a normal mobile phone system. These paper fistly commands a system which governs a system which gives the command to appliances to either switch on or off. The system works on some common day’s technologies which are mobile networking using GSM or CDMA, Duel Tone Multiple Frequency and basic encoding and decoding techniques. In this project we try to give the same prototype for this type of trains. We are using microcontroller 89c51 as CPU. And secondly the motion of the train is controlled by the stepper motor, for displaying the message in the train we are using intelligent LCD display of two lines. The train is designed for three stations, named as A, B and C. The stoppage time for every station is 3sec and time to travel from one station to another is 6sec, there is a LCD display for showing various messages in the train for passengers. There are indicators, which are used to show the train direction i.e. UP path and DOWN path .before stopping at the station, the train blows the buzzer. it also includes an emergency brakes system due to which the train stops as soon as the brakes are applied and resumes journey when he emergency situation is over.
Faces represent complex, multidimensional, meaningful visual stimuli. A real-time face recognition system has been implemented which is based on Artificial Neural Network. The system integrates three phases. At the initial phase, an image or a frame is grabbed from a real-time video source or webcam. Then the face region is detected using Local SMQT features and Split up SNoW Classifier and after that the detected face is sent for recognition using Backpropagation Neural Network. Feature extraction has been performed on Gray-Scale images of detected faces using Gray-Scale Morphology that are nonlinear and translationinvariant. The feature extraction and classification networks are trained together, allowing the network to simultaneously perform feature extraction and classification. This system performs extremely well under constrained conditions such as gross variation in expression, position, orientation and illumination which are the complications of face recognition.
Life Insurance is intangible in its nature hence majority of the Indian population cannot understand its meaning. After history of more than two hundred years of life insurance sector history in India it is still under penetrated with 27 to 27 percent. Almost all the insurers knows that it is not bought and it has to be sold, even still there are lot of misconceptions in the minds of Indians towards the concept of insurance hence it caused complications in marketing its products. In reality making the uneducated, rural and economically backward people to understand the insurance concept is a challenging task. Insurers may succeed if they know the attitude of uninsured and develop separate strategies for them. Marketing activities of life insurance companies is all about to inform, bringing awareness, develop belief, to form positive attitude, to reinforce trust etc. in the minds of the consumers by using tools such as advertising, public relations, displays, word of mouth, sales promotion, personal selling etc. Insurers may form positive attitude or may cause negative attitude so knowing the feelings of respondents found essential. Today customers are more informed with number of options; even still majority of the population in India is still uninsured or in some cases trusts only LIC. Therefore it is the duty of all insurers is to study the attitudes of people towards life insurance to reinforce trust and to change the attitude in the customers.
