This paper defines a novel ANFIS based controller is used for enhance power conversion efficiency of renewable energy source. Hear fuel cells are chosen among different types of renewable energy sources. Here a new converter topology is proposed to minimize conversion losses of devices used for power conversion. The input passive elements of rectifier reduce the circulating currents. The transformer and mutual inductors used to reduce stress on the power electronic conversion devices to improve conversion efficiency and voltage regulation. The ANFIS controller will enhance the power conversion efficiency by improving the switching speed and accuracy of in reference generation and it give extended stable operation.
The resolution of the geopolitical status of China in the South China Sea becomes more urgent because the South China Sea issue is so closelylinked to the geopolitical security interests of China. The longer the South China Sea issue is left unresolved, the greater the geopolitical threat to China. The presence and vicinity of foreign warships, submarines, and aircraft within the same dimensional space are potential hazards in the South China Sea can cause accidents and incidents. A naval armaments program can create unwanted tension making maritime arms control and confidence-building as an important aspects of maritime diplomacy. Someintriguing issues appear in this new environment, such as how will Southeast Asia respond to great power rivalry inside and outside the region? Will China’s rise be accompanied with increasing fears of a great power’s war or will ASEAN as the core regional grouping be an important catalyst in the interaction among nations? Will the great powers’ tension be as dangerous as the Cold War or could it be worse as China is going to use its economic power as a strategic tool? How will ASEAN collectively or as individual member countries in Southeast Asia respond to the great power rivalry of China, US, Japan, India, and Russia? Will the arms race among states in the region endanger the balance of power in Southeast Asia region? Will rivalry among great power countries in the East/South China Sea destabilise the sea lanes of communication in the region which has sustained stability in the past several decades?
The Yoruba believe that our past and present histories are being preserved for future generation. Hence, the Yoruba genres can be used to trace the history of a set of people and one occurrence or the other. Various genres of the Yoruba are embodiment of their history. In essence, Yoruba poets are seen as historians or repertoire of knowledge. All the stories which are embedded in Yoruba oral literature are seen in form of allusion. Yoruba orature helps to remember important cultural information and history of the Yoruba people. It is pertinent to note that the role of orature in the construction and reconstruction of history is remarkable as seen in the following genres of Yoruba oral literature such as alámọ̀, ìjálá, ẹ̀sà and orin. This paper concludes that in the above mentioned genres, like other Yoruba genres, poets play the roles of historians and that our past and present histories are preserved for future generation.
Wasiyyah or will is a legal document that outlines on how one’s estate is to be distributed in the event of affairs after the death of the testator according to Islamic law. Recently, the abundance of wasiyyah property is getting increase year by year resulting the accumulation of these properties without proper distribution among the testator’s beneficiary. Consequently, this wasiyyah caused detrimental to the testators’ beneficiaries and indirectly indicates the failure to fully understand the whole concept of Islamic property management via wasiyyah. On top of that, the confusion between wasiyyah, hibah, waqf and other Islamic property management might also lead to the above situation. This study therefore will further examine the concept and the conditions of wasiyyah and provide the procedure involved in the documentation of wasiyyah with special reference to As-Salihin Trustee, one of renowned wills Management Company in Malaysia.
This paper discusses in detail the calculation of bond lengths of organic molecules in the solid state. It describes briefly the effect of electronegativity in covalent bond length. A set of single bond covalent radii and electronegativity values are proposed. Covalent bond lengths calculated by a modified form of the soft sphere equation (which calculated internuclear separation of different Group 1 and Group 2 crystalline salts to a remarkable degree of accuracy) show very good agreement with observed values. The results also show that electronegativity is a major influence on covalent bond lengths and the soft sphere model described here can be used to calculate covalent bond lengths of other organic/bio-organic molecules in different environments that have not yet been experimentally measured.
Text mining, also known as Intelligent Text Analysis is an important research area. It is very difficult to focus on the most appropriate information due to the high dimensionality of data. Feature Extraction is one of the important techniques in data reduction to discover the most important features. Proce- ssing massive amount of data stored in a unstructured form is a challenging task. Several pre-processing methods and algo- rithms are needed to extract useful features from huge amount of data. The survey covers different text summarization, classi- fication, clustering methods to discover useful features and also discovering query facets which are multiple groups of words or phrases that explain and summarize the content covered by a query thereby reducing time taken by the user. Dealing with collection of text documents, it is also very important to filter out duplicate data. Once duplicates are deleted, it is recommended to replace the removed duplicates. Hence we also review the literature on duplicate detection and data fusion (remove and replace duplicates). The survey provides existing text mining techniques to extract relevant features, detect duplicates and to replace the duplicate data to get fine grained knowledge to the user.
In consideration of the synthetic chemicals chemotherapy has induced obnoxious hazards, there is a ubiquitous tend towards the natural resources, which are remedially potent and affordable for the poor people. Development of phenolic compounds or extracts has become a major area medical research due to their cancer preventive effects through induction apoptosis and prevention of oxidative stress associated cancer. The present scrutiny was designed to investigate the synergic anticancer effect of Punica grantum L and Ziziphus maritiana. The ethanol extract of combination of both plants were found to be the most effective in BSL and trypan blue assay, also stimulated caspase-8 and-9 protease by fold increase in Ac-IETD-pNA. The expression of P53 in cytoplasm and nuclei and the increase of TdT in the nuclei of carcinoma cells in mice treated while Bcl2 expression was declined. Consequently, the synergic anticancer activity of ethanol extract of combination of both plants was proved.
The raise of social networks in the last decades in various fields has called upon the need for their analysis. This phenomenon gave birth to Social Network Analysis (SNA) in the 1970s. Parallel to this quick development and the increasing need for such a methodology to analyze social networks, researchers developed a number of software for SNA. For these reasons, the authors of the present book (Borgatti, S. P., Everett, M. G. & Johnson, J. C.) made their practical guide about analyzing social networks available for researchers working on social media. Many details about data collection, analysis and interpretation are provided mainly by using the UCINET and NetDraw software designed for SNA.
The Niger Delta of Nigeria has been a very controversial and topical issue in the politics of the nation and in national discusses. In recent times, the region has been witnessing rising agitations, results of years of perceived under development of the region, exploitations of its crude oil resources without due consideration of the degrading effects on the environment and marginalisation of the aborigines. This heightened the call and demand for fiscal federalism as a panacea to these perceptions because many have wondered if the Niger Delta can survive a looming postoil era of limited revenue, evident under development; and, an agricultural sector that has suffered significant neglect and damage over the years. With a return to the traditional agriculture, the Niger Delta many believe can still retain its pride of place in agriculture among the committee of states in Nigeria given its agricultural potentials. The study therefore focused on the prospects and potentials of the Niger Delta agricultural sector. The researchers adopted a survey plan in their study using a combination of primary and secondary data. Descriptive statistics were used in data analysis where necessary. The study showed that agriculture if given the appropriate attention can make the region economically viable and stable since nearly all the crops grown in Nigeria, with the exception of a few can thrive reasonably well in this region.
The aim of the present study was a) to provide information on fructose, glucose, sucrose and maltose content, along with sum of fructose and glucose content, fructose/glucose ratio, and sum of the four sugars, of a lees common type of honey produced in Greece namely fir, and b) investigate the possibility of geographical differentiation using above parameters in combination with chemometrics. For this purpose, 30 commercial fir honey samples were collected during the harvesting period 2011 from 4 different regions in Greece. The analysis of saccharides was performed by high pressure liquid chromatography coupled to a refractive index detector. Results showed that sugar content of fir honey was affected by geographical origin (p<0.05). Application of linear discriminant analysis (LDA) to sugar parameters resulted to the correct geographical differentiation of commercial fir honeys recording 80% correct classification rate using the original, and 76.7% the cross validation method, respectively.
