We propose new dynamic hypotheses to enhance our understanding of the behavior of the plasma in the reactor. In doing so, we put forward a profound revision of classical dynamics. After over thirty years studying rotational dynamics, we propose a new theory of dynamic interactions to better interpret nature in rotation. This new theory has been tested experimentally returning positive results, including by third parties. Plasma rotation is an essential factor in the analysis of the turbulent transport of momentum in axisymmetric systems. In magnetic confinement fusion systems, the plasma circulates in the container at a constant movement, which we could define as rotation with respect to its walls. Notwithstanding, it has been shown that the plasma in the reactor can initiate spontaneous circular movement or rotation, without the need for any external dynamic momentum input. The theoretical development of this behavior is still under study, and the origin of this spontaneous intrinsic rotation is still unclear.
This paper specifies proposition of mystery shopping as a complimentary method along with customer surveys. It focuses on the antecedent of mystery shopping- observational methods. This paper addresses the gap in the existing research on mystery shopping. It covers customer surveys and observational methods of research. It also covers the existing academic research on mystery shopping and the application of mystery shopping by corporates. Subsequently, drawing on the existing literature, it discusses the validation of mystery shopping. It also outlines the implications of this research for future research and practice.
Structures subjected to seismic forces must have adequate strength and stiffness to control inter storey drift in order to prevent damage to structural and non-structural elements during excitations. Linked column frame system (LCF) for steel structures was proposed by Peter Dusicka et.al (2009) with the objective of utilizing replaceable components that are strategically placed to protect the gravity load carrying system. In this paper the concept is extended to Reinforced concrete structures. A design procedure is proposed that ensures that plastic hinges form in the links of the link column at a significantly lower story drift than when plastic hinges develop in the moment frame beams. The experimental investigation consisted of cyclic load test on a single bay frame with and without link column. The test results showed a significant increase in the energy dissipation of the link column frames with a decrease in relative story drifts.
The outbreak involved 1,200 15 weeks old white leghorn growers in a poultry farm in Lagos out of which 163 died without any premonitory signs. Postmortem examination revealed congested lungs, haemorrhagic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, crop, proventriculus and petechial haemorrhage of the cardiac muscles. Corynebacterium diphtheria was isolated from the intestine, heart blood, lung, upper respiratory tract and liver of all that died. The pathogenicity of the isolates was conducted on 8 15-weeks old white leghorn with two as controls using 0.5ml overnight broth culture administered orally. They were observed for up to 13 days with 100% mortality. The organism was re-isolated from the heart blood, liver, lung, trachea, proventiclus and crop of infected chickens. The control showed no sign of illness during the period of observation. This study revealed the zoonotic nature of Corynebacerium diphtheriae which association with poultry in Nigeria has not been reported as far as the authors knew.
The paper was designed to analyze tax productivity in post reform Ethiopia from 1991/92 to 2013/14 using ARDL co-integration approach. Tax productivity is defined in terms of tax buoyance and tax elasticity. Tax Elasticity were estimated by adjusting total tax revenue data using proportional adjustment method. In its analysis the study founds buoyance coefficient of 0.95 which is less than unit. It implies that for a one percentage increases in economic growth revenue from total tax system grows on average by 0.95 percent. The implication is that a decreasing proportion of incremental income was transferred to the government in terms of total tax revenue. The elastic coefficient of 2.12 implies that for a one percentage increases in automatic economic growth rather than any discretionary tax policy, revenue from total tax system grows on average 2.12 percent. The indication is that total tax is elastic with respect to automatic economic growth and an increasing proportion of incremental automatic economic growth was transferred to the government in terms of total tax revenue.
Mobile cloud computing comprises of cloud computing, mobile computing and wireless network. Providing secure and convenience for the mobile users to access multiple cloud computing services is essential. This paper furnish an effective way of providing the authentication for the mobile users to access multiple cloud computing services. The proposed scheme outfit a secure and expediency for mobile users to access several cloud computing services from multiple service providers using a single private key. Our proposed scheme is based on bilinear pairing cryptosystem. In addition, the scheme also supports mutual authentication, key exchange, user anonymity. To overcome the vulnerabilities of traditional methods, from system implementation point of view, the proposed scheme eliminates the usage of verification tables that are required to store the user credentials(user ID and password) which are the part of smart card generator service and cloud computing service provider.
The ethanolic extract of the leaves of Acalypha wilkesiana plant was studied to find the phytochemical compounds using GCMS analysis. The result of the phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of 12 compounds. Among the 12 compounds, the most abundant were 2-Ethyl-1-hexene with 39.21 peak area %, RT 22.698 and molecular formula C8H16 ; n-Haxadecanoic acid or plamitic acid with 20.92 peak area %, RT:20.92 and molecular formula C16H32O2 and Butane 1,4-diol with 11.58%peak area RT:8.358 and molecular formula of C4H10O2.which demonstrated various medicinal potentials. Therefore the ethanolic leaf extract of Acalypha wilkesiana contain pharmacologically useful active phytochemicals which have effect on progesterone receptors, glucocorticoid receptors, androgen and estrogen receptors with a mild antioxidant and atherosclerotic activity thus could play vital roles in health care programs.
In the present paper, we define a new type of connection called semi-symmetric S-connection in a generalised co-symplectic manifold and studied some of its properties. The relation between the curvature tensor with respect to this connection and the curvature tensor with respect to the Riemannian connection is establised.
Acute dislocation of the knee is a limb-threatening injury that often results in extensive soft-tissue damage and disruption of the popliteal blood vessels. We report a case of traumatic bilateral open knee dislocation with a type 42 A2 closed right tibial shaft fracture and right common peroneal nerve palsy. We are not aware of any other reports of such a combination of injuries.
Female Entrepreneurship is considered an important tool for female empowerment and emancipation. The main objective of this study is to investigate self-employment perception of female undergraduates students (Comparison Ethiopian Public and Private Universities). Entrepreneurship has become a crucial area to study and understand – especially with respect to, perception toward entrepreneur, motivations, constraints and consequences. Female undergraduates students are chosen for the current study is because they are at a period in their career development where they are considering different career routes and are therefore, a potential source of future female entrepreneurs. The finding of the study identified that there were different factor that affects female undergraduates’ perception self-employment.
