It has been observed that most conventional operating systems could not cope with the scheduling of multimedia tasks owing to the large size of these files. For instance, processing of multimedia tasks using the traditional operating systems are fraught with problems such as low quality of service and delay jitters. In order to address these problems, a scheduling algorithm christened hybrid genetic algorithm for multimedia task scheduling (HGAMTS) was developed. It employed heuristic knowledge of the problem domain to model a hybrid genetic algorithm in a multiprocessor environment. The system is made up of the scheduler model and the task model. The scheduler model consist a centralized dynamic scheduling scheme. In this scheme, all tasks arrive at a central processor (scheduler). The model has a minimum of five and maximum of ten processors. Attached to each processor is a dispatch queue.
We analyze the CV bipartite entanglement of the light generated by a coheretly pumped non degenerate three-level laser with a two-mode subharmonic generator coupled to a twomode vacuum reservoir via a single-port mirror, whose open cavity contains N non-degenerate three- level cascade atoms. We carry out our analysis by putting the noise operators associated with a vacuum reservoir in normal order. It is found that the photon-state of the system is strongly entangled at steady state where as the atom state of the system is not entangled. We have also shown that as the stimulated decay constant increases, the degree of entanglement increases. In addition, we have established that the photons in the laser cavity are highly correlated and the photon correlation and entanglement increases as the amplitude of the coherent light driving the pump mode increases. Moreover, we have realized that the presence of the subharmonic generator leads to an increase in the degree of entanglement and correlations.
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks is large-scale cooperative attacks launched from a large number of compromised hosts called Zombies are a major threat to Internet services. As the serious damage caused by DDoS attacks increases, the rapid detection and the proper response mechanisms are urgent. However, existing security methodologies do not provide effective defense against these attacks, or the defense capability of some mechanisms is only limited to specific DDoS attacks. Therefore, keeping this problem in view author presents various significant areas where data mining techniques seem to be a strong candidate for detecting and preventing DDoS attack. The new proposed methodology can perform detecting and preventing DDoS attack using MapReduce concepts in Big Data.Thus the methodology can implement for both detecting and preventing methodologies.
Abstract- When Hurricane Katrina was over the Gulf of Mexico in 2005 an unprecedented significant wave height (𝑯𝑯𝒔𝒔) of 17 m was measured at the National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) station 42040. Using this extreme 𝑯𝑯𝒔𝒔 value and those from NDBC Buoy 42003 in the Gulf of Mexico during Katrina and Buoy 52009 during Typhoon Russ near Guam in the Pacific in 1990, it is found that approximately 85% of the variation in turbulence intensity (TI) over the wind seas can be explained by the variation in 𝑯𝑯𝒔𝒔. Application of this relation between TI and 𝑯𝑯𝒔𝒔 shows that the estimated drift velocity is in excellent(over 95%) agreement with that measured during Hurricane Ivan.

We analyzed all abiotic and phytocoenological and ecological factors, with special emphasis on edaphic and climatic conditions and the phytosociological factors, namely the ground flors as indicator of development and growth of black pine trees. The research was done in Å umadija in the area of Forest management of Kragujevac, covered mostly with the black pine. Thus, 5 permanent sample plots in the cultures of black pine raised: The study analyzed the culture of black pine of 3o, 4o, 55-60. years of age. After the comparison, dminant and oppressed trees in the cultures were done, with valuable new data. Depressed tree can become dominant., which is abig news of Forest Science, yet possible only with proper care measures.
Prevalence of intestinal helminth infections in primary schools in Isuochi town, Abia State Nigeria was surveyed in two randomly selected primary schools, between April and September 2012. Stool samples of 200 pupils (110 males, 90 females), aged 6-9 years, were examined microscopically by using wet mount (normal saline) and concentrated saturated sodium chloride floatation techniques. Seven intestinal helminths, AscarisIumbricoides, Hookworm, Trichuristri- chiura, Strongyloidesstercoralis, Enterobiusvermicularis, Schistosomamansoni and Taeniaspp, were identified with 150(75%) of the 200 pupils infected with one or a combination of the worms. Hookworm had the highest prevalence (37.84%) followed by A. lumbricoides (24.32%), T. trichiura(14.86%), E. vermicularis(8.11%), S. stercoralis and T. spp have (6.76%) infection rate respectively while S. mansonihas the lowest rate of infection (2.70%).

The reality that the Nigeria Government has judiciously invested over three billion naira towards the improvement of the Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Cross River State is a significant demonstration of the degree of productivity which is expected from the EPZ operations there. This is the time for all Local Government administrators in Cross River State to adopt the information management styles relevant to export products specification, assessment, and Evaluation and transportation modalities to help process goods to the required destinations of the EPZ. The Local Government officials must open EPZ offices in their areas and establish viable links between those offices and the main EPZ office at the State Capital. Management by Objectives (MBO) has been applied to indicate how the EPZ can succeed if the MBO is practiced. Also, Programme Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) network can be used to enhance EPZ activities as specified projects can be broken down into identifiable activities, where it can be calculated mathematically to know which activities could be done within specified time frames. When, for instance, Government agents give the dates when some specific commodities are to be assembled for them at the State Capital, the Local Government administrators become mandated to work with the local producers to ensure that specific projects are commenced at appropriate times, since PERT analysis of time durations for accomplishing the activities in the plans can be measured mathematically and evaluated to know which pathway is the most appropriate to follow.
