Background: Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) is a clinical condition characterized by varied incidence, geographical distribution, and poor prognosis. We conducted this study to trace his epidemiological and immunihistochemical, evolution. Methods: Case files were collected from the archives of the National Institute of Oncology. Inclusion criteria included: − Aproven histological diagnosis of breast cancer − Skin erythema over at least one third of breast − Symptoms appearing over a period of under six months Results: We collected 172 cases, incidence was 5%.Erythema in more than one third of the breast, orange peel skin and edema was present in all patients.126 patients had a localized disease ,46 patients were metastatic.
Problem Statement: School belonging includes the extent to which students feel personally accepted, respected, included, and supported by others in the school. Although school belonging appears to play a critical role in academic and psychosocial outcomes of schooling no related study can be found in the Turkish educational landscape. Therefore, it is important to adapt the Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM) Scale for Turkishlanguage use and to investigate the Turkish students’ sense of school membership in further studies. Purpose of the Study: The purpose of the present study is to adapt the PSSM scale to the Turkish educational context and to define its factorial structure for Turkish-language use Method: The PSSM was administrated to 238 students, attending 6th-, 7th- and 8th-grade in Adana, Turkey. To create the Turkish version of the PSSM, the scale was translated from English to Turkish with forward and reverse translation methods.
T he word Amajiri was derived from Arabic “Almuhajiri” meaning an emigrant. It usually refers to a person who migrates from luxury of his home to other place or to a popular teacher in the quest for Islamic knowledge. It is hinged on the Islamic concept of migration which is widely practiced especially when acquisition of knowledge at home is either inconvenient or insufficient. During the pre-colonial era, the Almajiri education systems originally called the Tsangaya was established under the Kanem-Borno Empire, one of the oldest ruling empire in the world extending from the frontier of northern Libya. It was established as an organized and comprehensive system of education for learning Islamic principles, values, jurisprudence and theology. This depicts the replica of Islamic learning centers in many Muslim countries such as: Madrasah in Pakistan, Malaysia Egypt and Indonesia etc.
This study was carried out to conform the Nutrient availability and maize growth in soil amended with mineral fertilizer and biocompost. Biocompost is prepared from sugarcane filtercake and other waste material of sugarmills. The biocompost samples were collected from Sugar Mill, Matiari and analyzed for macro nutrients. The pot experiment was conducted with mineral fertilizer and biocompost amendment for maize crop. The pot experiment was replicated three times in a completely randomized block design. Pot experiment results revealed that there were pronounced positive effects of addition of biocompost. Maize crop data showed that the effect of biocompost and mineral fertilizers was non-significant with respect to N, P and K contents. Data describing the soil physical and chemical properties at the end of pot experiment under mineral fertilizers and biocompost showed that the EC values of post harvest samples increased with the application of biocompost while pH was not affected. Soil organic matter, Olsen P and NH4OAC-K increased significantly with the application of biocompost, and mineral fertilizer application also increased Olsen P and NH4OAC-K contents in soil. The results of this study showed that biocompost can be used along with mineral fertilizers to increase maize growth and yield.
Parabolic trough solar collector is providing nonpolluting energy for domestic and industrial application. Assessment of profile of manufactured parabola by precise instrument is basic need for high efficiency. This paper presented the assessment of parabolic profile by two dimensional linear scales having right angle to each other and compared the results with the analytical equation. Graphical view also presented for results measured by linear scales and analytical equation. The efficiency of the solar trough also can be increased by installing thermocouples at periphery of the receiver tube.
In offline handwritten signature verification process, preprocessing of the signature is the very fast and most essential part. In some cases the raw signature can include extra pixel known as noises or may not be in proper form where preprocessing is mandatory. If a signature is preprocessed correctly, it leads to a better result for both signature matching and forgery detection. Pre-processing includes binarization, noise removal, thinning, orientation etc. Many experiments and techniques have already been proposed for implementing these processes and some of them have shown exclusive and spectacular results. Regarding to this situation we have studied several preprocessing steps, signature features, feature detectors and also implemented some of them using MATLAB software. We have studied several image processing algorithms, and proposed an algorithm to correct the alignment of the input signature which can be used at the preprocessing stage to achieve better results in the signature detection process. We have tried to find a baseline of the handwritten signature and align it with respect to the baseline.
This paper explores development and functioning of Indigenous education systems of Canada and the Russian Federation. Reconstructing educational phenomena on the basis of qualitative data, the author builds historical models of education systems in both countries, presents their structures, contents and basic components. Recognizing secondary schooling as an integral component of each system, the author investigates such issues as boarding schools, language in education, and the issue of teaching staff. In order to assess boarding school educational effectiveness, the author explores pedagogical process and indicates its interior controversy which may stipulate various weaknesses specified for boarding schools. Comparing experiences of language using in both education systems, the author indicates and analyzes a number of benefits and weaknesses of each experience. In connection with this, bilingual education benefits are considered. In addition, various forms of teacher training are presented and a number of their weaknesses are indicated.
This paper intends to discuss and understand contemporary branding techniques in marketing that can influence current consumer buying behavior. By thoroughly examining and understanding the way consumers feel about and perceive brands that influence their buying decisions, companies can adapt to the particular markets they are trying to serve, and promote their brand products using the most suitable branding techniques for their brand that would serve the customers’ interests.
Cloud computing ensures access to shared resources and common infrastructure, offering services on demand over a network for operations to meet changing business needs. Scheduling is a prominent activity that is executed in a cloud computing environment. To increase cloud computing work load efficiency, tasks scheduling is performed to get maximum profit. In cloud, high communication cost prevents task schedulers from being applied in large scale distributed environments. Cloud environment system scheduling is NP-complete. To solve the NP complete and NP hard problems heuristic approaches are used. This study proposes a hybrid optimization based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) for scheduling in cloud environments
The article deals with the prospective directions in creating energy efficient economy with using energy saving light-diode hardware on the basis of nano-bio-info-cogno- (NBIC) technologies. Ukraine experiences considerable import of fuel energy resources, which poses a threat to the state energy safety. The situation drives the need to implement a comprehensive research and design hardware to decrease production energy/output ratio, increase energy efficiency and diversify energy sources. At the same time implementation of energy saving hardware on the basis of NBIC-technologies into developed countries economies requires reviewing of the prospects for its utilization to develop light-diode enginery in Ukraine.
