In this paper we consider the spectral problem for the wave propagation in extended plates of variable thickness. Describes how to solve problems and numerical results of wave propagation in infinitely large plates of variable thickness. Viscous properties of the material are taken into account by means of an integral operator Voltaire. The study is part of the spatial theory of visco elastic. The technique is based on the separation of spatial variables and formulating boundary eigenvalues problem to be solved by the method of orthogonal sweep Godunov. Numerical values obtained for the real and imaginary parts of phase velocity as a function of wave number. When this coincidence numerical results obtained with the known data.
The foreign direct and indirect investment has aroused attention of a lot of governments, organization, companies and individuals. The argument arises over feasibility of this type of investment and the burdens and advantages resulting from it, especially in relation to motives of the foreign companies to make investment, determinants of these foreign investments and methods of organization and management in the foreign companies. Success of any government in general or any business organization in particular in solving the economic problems or being able to achieve a certain goals is undoubtedly an indicator to quality of their decisions and rationality of their plans and policies. Achievement of the economic and social benefit to the community members is not confined to reaching a certain degree of self-sufficiency or internal social welfare, rather it can be provided through opening doors to the foreign investments.
The current study was designed to investigate the changes of liver enzymes during normal pregnancy. To achieve the intended aim, 185 pregnant women of aged 20 – 37 years(60 women in first trimester, 65 women in second trimester and 60 women in third trimester of pregnancy), also the study contain70 women(control individuals) in age near to age of pregnant women. The levels of Alanine amino transferase(ALT), Aspartate amino transferase(AST) and Alkaline Phosphatase(ALP) were determined by enzymatic methods. The results indicated a significant (P<0.05) increase of ALT and significant(P<0.01) increase of AST activities in pregnant women in third trimester when compared with those of the control group, while ALP indicated higher significantly(P<0.0005) in third and second trimester when compared with control group.
Tuberculosis (TB) is a major global health problem and economically important zoonotic diseases worldwide. This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of tuberculosis and risk factor in human and cattle at Mymensingh district in Bangladesh. In this study, 3085 human and 649 cattle were examined during January 2009 to December 2011 at Dhobaura upazila of Mymensingh district. The overall prevalence of tuberculosis in human and animal was 9.7% and 2.34%, respectively (p<0.01). The difference in the prevalence of tuberculosis in human and cattle is statistically significant (p<0.001). Statistically significant higher prevalence was found in the age group of ≤2029 years and 30≤39 years than 40≤49 years, 50≤59 years and ≥60 years age group of human (p<0.001).
This work is a pioneer investigation of semigroups and groups over the Loubéré Magic Squares. By the Loubéré Magic Squares, we understand the magic squares formed by the De La Loubéré Procedure. The set of the Loubéré Magic Squares equipped with the matrix binary operation of addition forms a semigroup if the underlining set so considered is the multi set of natural numbers; and if we consider the multi set of integer numbers as the underlined set of entries of the square, the set of the squares enclosed with the aforementioned operation forms an abelian group. The Loubéré Magic Squares are always recognized with centre piece C and magic sum M(S). We showcase that the set of the centre pieces and the set of the magic sums form respective abelian groups if both are equipped with integer numbers operation of addition. We also explicate that the set of the eigen values of the squares enclosed with the integer addition (operation) forms an abelian group. We reveal that the subelement (a terminology we introduced) Magic Squares of the Loubéré Magic Squares forms a semigroup and the Subelement Magic Squares of the Loubéré Magic Squares Group forms a group, with respect to the matrix binary operation of addition.
This paper describes experiments on the induction of sex reversal in chickens by estrogen inhibitors (letrozole, tamoxifen), demethylating agent 5-azacytidine and retinoic acid (RA). Particular attention is paid to control entry into meiosis of germ cells. The obtained data indicates a partial overlap control of somatic and gametic sex.
In this paper a hierarchical structure for the management of airport ground handling activities is proposed. The main decision making processes in charge of the managerial units composing a proposed ground handling management organization are considered. The global objective is to turn available the ground handling resources so that arriving and departing flight are serviced with as little delay as possible. Two operational situations are considered: a normal one where small delays are coped with when arriving and departing traffic is globally on schedule, and a disrupted situation where arriving or departing traffic suffer very large delays.
This work presents the researcher’s experience of a field work on Idoma masquerade tradition. This paper examines the probable difficulties as well as procedures of data collection in masquerade studies. The work states that masquerade performance is the cradle of Idoma civilization. This validates the important place of systemic methodological strategies in researches of this nature. The research shows that Idoma masquerades are conceived as spiritual contraptions which are personified in bodily forms. These play functional roles in the peoples’ lives. As a result they are guarded jealously. Findings show that people’s understanding of the world around them is sustained by the peculiarities of their cultures and traditions. The paper concludes that tools like oral interviews, participation observation, case studies, holism and behind the scene involvement are important instruments in conducting successful researches in Idoma masquerades. Thus presents that using the qualitative approach to methodology achieves better outcomes.
As a basic and important term in the interaction design, usability is an overall rating of the degree of use in the human computer interaction, which guarantees the realization of interaction. Usability test is a necessary process in the human computer interface design. It is a process of through systematically collecting the usability data of interface and assessing and improving the data. Designers can enhance the usability through testing and improving the present interface; designers can also evaluate the usability of the present interface, borrowing its strongpoint, improving its shortcomings, and applying in the new design.Conducting sufficient usability test requires planning and attention to the evaluation details. In common, usability test methods for software take into considerations, planning usability questions, selecting a representative sample and recruiting participant s, and preparing the test materials and actualtest environment. In order to make a way to select an appropriate method to perform a usability test, this paper has introduced the usability test methods in the human computer interface design, then analyzed and summarized the methods and finally state of the art taxonomy is presented.
This study examines the media habits of young people in Saudi Arabia, in particular their use of the Internet and television in the domestic sphere, and how use of the Internet impacts upon other activities. In order to address the research questions, focus group interviews were conducted with Saudi university students. The study found that television has become a central part of social life within the household where television represents a main source for family time, particularly in Ramadan while the Internet is a solitary activity where it is used in more private spaces. Furthermore, Saudi females were also more likely to have their Internet access monitored and circumscribed by family members, with parents controlling the location and the amount of time spent using the Internet.
