The term “supply chain management” has become a popular buzzword, probably first used by consultants in the late 1980s & then analyzed by the academic community in the 1990s. if one wants a simple definition, supply chain management links all the supply interacting organizations in an integrated two-way communication system to manage high quality inventory in the most effective & efficient manner. The supply chain management reflects those actions & values responsible for the continuous improvement of the design, development & management processes of an organization’s supply system, with the objective of improving its profitability & ensuring its survival, as well as the profitability & survival of its customers & suppliers. A firm’s supply system includes all internal functions plus external suppliers involved in the identification & fulfillment of needs for materials, equipment & services in an optimized fashion. Supply management lays the foundation for, and is the key to, successful supply chain management. Meanwhile, to execute order properly we have included supply chain management. We identified these supply chain areas from my own observation managers may apply analysis or decision support tools. We provide a brief description of the basic content mention likely operations research based tools to aid in analysis & decision support. As a merchandiser it is so important to know the supply chain management to control the merchandising system he/she must have proper understanding about the whole supply chain management to ensure smooth handling the merchandising movement in order to succeed the merchandising plan. That is why my total dissertation basically based on the relationship between supply chain management & merchandising department which can able together to supply an outstanding feedback for the apparel industries.
Inadequate watershed management, natural, and man induced erosion of soils in the barani areas have threatened the sustainability of soil and water resources. In this study, sediment loads in the main streams passing through rainfed areas of the Pothwar region has been estimated for verifying the impacts of projects being implemented for agricultural development in the regions, especially the construction of small dams. The study has been carried out in three major basins namely Soan, Kanshi and Haro of Pothwar region. The daily discharge, sediment and rainfall data for the period 1982-2004 were analyzed and correlated accordingly. The sediment load has increased with the increase of river flow and vice versa. The unit rate of sediment yield decreased as the drainage area increased. Moreover, the observed sediment concentrations were low in low rainfall areas (Dhok Pathan) and high in areas fall under high rainfall zone (Chirah and Rawalpindi). Generally, the sediment concentration waslow during January to June (low rainfall) and high during months of October to December (high rainfall). The study concluded that sediment load beyond sustainable limits can affect the land and water resources negatively which can be identified by exploring basin hydrology and predicting sediment load as well as mitigating potential threats through application of computer simulation model.
The mission in this Paper as per its title is to carry out a Literature Review, Research Methodology and discover the Research Findings in the context of the above topic. To keep with his tradition, the Author will profer a Summary, Conclusion, Recommendation, Key Assumption and a short prayer for Zimbabwe to wrap up the discourse in this Paper.
The objective in this Paper is to investigate if the revenue collection methods employed by ZIMRA 2 are in compliance with the concept of human rights as defined by the United Nations after which the Author will proffer a Summary, Conclusion, Recommendation, key assumption and a short prayer for Zimbabwe to benefit its suffering masses.
The mission in this Paper – Decline in business activity at the Zimbabwe activity at the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange: A sign of a limping economy is to measure the decline in the trade in counters during the period September – October 2014. After the discussion of the results, the Author will proffer a Summary, Conclusion and Recommendations to wrap up the discourse.
I have already discovered a simple proof of the Riemann Hypothesis. The hypothesis states that the nontrivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function have real part equal to 0.5 . I assume that any such zero is s =a+ bi .I use integral calculus in the first part of the proof. In the second part I employ variational calculus. Through equations (50) to (59) I consider (a) as a fixed exponent , and verify that a = 0.5 .From equation (60) onward I view (a) as a parameter (a <0.5 ) and arrive at a contradiction. At the end of the proof (from equation (73)) and through the assumption that (a) is a parameter, I verify again that a = 0.5.
Consumers began using more online sources today, thanks to the rapid development of technology and communication channels. The most important of these tools are social media. Consumers access to the information they need about goods and services which will be awarded through social media dramatically. It is clear that now day, social media components are popular like Facebook and Twitter have got an attention to consumer markets. Therefore, this study is aimed to determine the effect of social media in our lives in recent years and to determine the effects of social networks on the purchasing behavior of consumers in Pakistan. This study consisted of a sample of 1,000 young consumers between the age group of 18-50 years using social media platforms having an account in any of the social networks. Questionnaire was used to get the data of the study. The results form collected data indicate that the social media has a significant impact on consumption behavior in Pakistan.
In the present paper, elastic field parameters of a guided simply supported beam under three point bending has been investigated by a new approach called displacement potential formulation. Guided beams involve mixed mode of boundary conditions which the classical beam theory cannot handle. In displacement potential formulation, all the elastic field parameters has been expressed in terms of a single function Ψ which gives rise to a fourth order partial differential equation. The solution of this equation has been determined by trial and error process satisfying all the boundary conditions. This solution is then inserted to reduce the partial differential equation into an ordinary one. The obtained analytical solution of the beam has been presented as graphs. The stress concentration occurs mainly at the point of application of the load and the support at two corners. The analytical solution has further been verified by finite element analysis.
The study combined qualitative approaches with quantitative research design to develop culture and language sensitive curriculum materials in Physics (CLS-CMIP). The curriculum materials are intended to aid students in meaning making when learning about Physics concepts and achieve conceptual change, meaningful learning and enhanced attitude in science while preserving and assimilating their local culture, traditions, practices and home language or mother tongue. Significant contribution of the curriculum materials can betraced to establishing and defining the constructs and categories on how curriculum localization andcontext-based science learning can be developed aligned with students’ expectations and beliefs. Thedevelopment process employed non-conventional processes adopted from literature which included pilotstudy to identify specific practices, traditions, beliefs and products of Pangasinan which still exist and of use to the people of Pangasinan which can be integrated and utilized in contextualizing Physics lessons. Data analysis included descriptive statistics and Aiken’s content validity coefficient. Using the Culture and Language Sensitive Curriculum Material Evaluation Tool (CS-CMET), a high mean value of 4.65 out of 5.0 was obtained with the mean of 4.62 out 5.0 for the first construct: Culture and Language-Based Principlesand a mean of 4.67 out 5 for the second construct: Emphasis on Learning Science and Learning Culture, Language, and Literacy. In support to these ratings, the Interrater reliability (0.88) and intra-class correlation (0.98) emphasized that the developed curriculum materials were consistently rated by experts are content valid. These provide the idea that the developed Culture and Language Sensitive Curriculum Materials in Physics (CLS-CMIP) were highly influenced by Instructional Congruence Framework (ICF).
Over the past few decades huge amount of research on gender has been conducted with dozens of findings from which female stereotypes about male dominancy is the main subject of this study and the basic purpose of this study is to analyze this phenomenon from the perspective of female as prime minister of the country, a top most effective position to bring a change. The study is based on the data of those cabinets which were selected and headed by female as prime minister and CEO of the country. It has been found that regardless of the region, culture, religion or country economic development, the female stereotypes does exist even among the world best female rulers, which this research argues is a serious hurdle in the way of selection of based on gender equality. This research is significant from the perspective of future research in gender issues and authorities in public management point of view as this has analyzed a serious issue concerning to global gender empowerment a common agenda of the international comity. It is being suggested that UN should adopt an effective mechanism to address the gender equality based selection on the initial stage of cabinet formation for the government.
