Introduction: Fine Needle Aspiration cytology (FNAC) is a rapid diagnostic technique for the initial evaluation of palpable swellings. Enlarged lymph nodes are a common lesion subjected to FNAC. The cytomorphological features observed on cytology correlate very well with the histological appearances. Besides initial diagnosis of lymphoma, it also helps in diagnosis of residual disease, recurrence, progression of low grade to high grade lymphoma and also the detection of metastasis as lymph nodes are a common site of metastasis of different cancers. Materials and Methods: The present study comprises of 396 patients who presented with lymphadenopathy in the department of pathology, Giansagar medical college and hospital, Ramnagar, Patiala, Punjab from April 2008 to March 2011 (3 years). All the patients were subjected to FNAC using a 10 ml syringe and 22 gauge needles. 70 cases were subjected to lymph node biopsy. The cytological results were compared with the histological findings wherever possible.
By describing the rapid development of 3D printed buildings in China and specifying the necessary changes in 3D printing materials, especially commercial concrete, this article summarizes the advantages of 3D printed buildings and analyzes their problems to be settled.
The tachyon model of neutrino is constructed, basing on the statement that quantum description is a statistical description of stochastically moving particles. Besides, the tachyon model contains two conceptual points: (1) universal formalism of particle dynamics, describing uniformly all particles: deterministic, stochastic and quantum, (2) discrete space-time geometry and skeleton conception of particle dynamics. The universal formalism is a result of a logical reloading, when the statistical ensemble becomes to be the basic object of particle dynamics instead of a single particle. Such a reloading admits one to describe uniformly the quantum, stochastic and deterministic particles in terms of a statistical ensemble without a reference to principles of quantum mechanics. Besides, one uses a relativistic state of a particle, when the state is described by the particle skeleton (several space-time points) instead of the point in the phase space, what is nonrelativistic concept of the particle state. Representing the Dirac equation in terms of the statistical ensemble, one concludes that in the deterministic approximation the world line of the Dirac particle may be a spacelike helix with timelike axis. The rotational component of the relativistic Dirac particle is described nonrelativistically. It shows that the world line may be spacelike, and the Dirac particle may be a tachyon. Neutrino is a Dirac particle, and it is a tachyon.
This study was focused to identify the link between oxidative stress and senescence of erythrocytes in vivo. To elucidate this mechanism, various modification of RBC membrane proteins and lipids were analyzed invitro, exposing them to oxidative stress and the results were compared with the changes observed in erythrocytes undergoing senescence in vivo. The other objective was to confirm the mechanism of autoantibody mediated removal of aged RBCs. Our results established that increased lipid peroxidation products, followed by the enhanced damage of RBC membrane protein caused increased RBC membrane protein carbonylation, to normal red cells exposed to the in vitro Fe2+ & ascorbate induced oxidative stress. It was presumable that these changes were mediated by hydroxyl (ȮH) radicals. Further, similar changes were also seen in percoll gradient age fractionated high density aged RBCs.
Faculty members’ of any University are playing a crucial role for students and the administration of University should be aware of the importance of faculty members’ commitment and its role in motivating them for sustaining their performance. The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of faculty members’ commitment on sustained performance in University sector of Bangladesh. Both primary and secondary data has been used for the study. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and secondary data were used to identify the commitment related problems of the faculty members’ of University and collected from related journals, books, websites. In this study Satisfaction, Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment & Normative Commitment have been used as independent variables and Sustained performance as the dependent variable. The findings of the study indicated that normative commitment is significantly related to sustained performance, continuance commitment is negatively related and affective commitment, satisfaction have no relation with sustained performance. The finding reveals that there exists a significant relation between satisfaction and Affective Commitment, Continuance Commitment, Normative Commitment. The study suggests that the administration should be working towards the faculty members’ satisfaction and organizational commitment.
Factoring is a simple form of Commercial Finance in which a Small Business which can’t qualify for more conventional financing sells its accounts receivable (invoices), representing money due from its business/governmental customers for the sale of its goods and services to a “Factor” or Factoring company at a discount from face value so that it does not have to wait the normal 30-90 days for its invoices to be paid. In short, Factoring helps a Small Business Speed Up its Cash Flow, thereby enabling it to more readily pay its current obligations and grow. Some people defined factoring as the purchasing of accounts receivable, in the form of invoices, at a discount from their face value. The term ‘Factor’ has its origin from the Latin word ‘facere’ meaning to make or do (to get things done). The dictionary defines a Factor as an agent, particularly a mercantile agent. Factoring has a long and fascinating history, which traces back through several centuries. In the early stages, Factors were itinerant merchants who were entrusted with merchandise belonging to others.
This article assessed credit utilization among arable farmers in Kwara state, Nigeria and its influence on farm income. The data analyzed were collected from 100 farmers purposively sampled. Despite an average of 11years experience, 47% of the farmers have not benefited from agricultural credit. Average income per hectare for farmers who were able to access funds for their farm business was higher (N52,000/$325) than for those who did not (N35,430/$221) however, average loan granted (N55,550/$347)was lower than applied for (N77,900/$486). Lack of collateral was a major limitation for sourcing for credit. Factors determining farmers’ decision to use credit included household size, use of hired labour, cooperatives participation, awareness of credit sources, past loan size, possession of collateral and proximity to the credit lending institution. Policies and programmes directed at enhancing these factors will increase farmers’ decision to use agricultural credit.
Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) is an economically important vegetable crop grown in tropical and sub-tropical parts of the world. This paper was aimed to review nutritional quality and potential health benefits of edible parts of Okra. Okra is a multipurpose crop due to its various uses of the fresh leaves, buds, flowers, pods, stems and seeds. Okra immature fruits, which are consumed as vegetables, can be used in salads, soups and stews, fresh or dried, fried or boiled. It offers mucilaginous consistency after cooking. Often the extract obtained from the fruit is added to different recipes like stews and sauces to increase the consistency. Okra mucilage has medicinal applications when used as a plasma replacement or blood volume expander. The mucilage of okra binds cholesterol and bile acid carrying toxins dumped into it by the liver. Okra seeds are a potential source of oil, with concentrations varying from 20% to 40%, which consists of linoleic acid up to 47.4%. Okra seed oil is also a rich source of linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated fatty acid essential for human nutrition.
The main aim of this study was to examine the relationship between service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in the context of aSaudi ArabianAutomobile Company (SAACO). Spearman correlation analysis indicated that all quality dimensions have significant positive effect on both customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. A questionnaire was personally distributed to 140 customers and 117 were returned. The study suggests that in order for the automobile companies to keep up with the competition, it is essential to conduct periodic quality assessments to proactively identify and fix any gaps between customers’ expectations and actual perceived service quality. Continuous improvement in service quality is necessary to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention, market share and profitability.
Entrepreneurship is considered as a medium of tackling the problems of unemployment. The purpose of this study is to examine the need in order to reduce unemployment through entrepreneurship in Pakistan. The regression results indicate that 91 percent variations in entrepreneurship development have been explained by the explanatory variables. The unemployment rate has been found to be negatively related to entrepreneurial development. High rate of unemployment has been associated with low level of entrepreneurial development in economy of Pakistan.
