One of the most enduring legacies parents and the country can pass on to its youth is education. Indeed education is the fabric of any culture, with it, culture is transmitted thought are conceptualized and information transmitted. It is hardly inconceivable to imagine a learning process without education, in this case higher education. For instance, how and where would a professor transmit his knowledge to students? How can the innermost recesses of a teacher be tapped by students? Any serious response to these questions may probably x-ray the importance of higher education and its contributions to educational system in Nigeria. The challenges, politicking and benefits of higher education. This paper recognizes the benefits of higher education and the challenges faced in attempting to provide higher education. It notes that government alone cannot provide the resources needed to provide qualitative higher education, and advocates for other sources of dealing with these challenges.
The purpose of this study is to understand the variables affecting the consumer behavior while purchasing green products. Eco-friendly paper i.e. paper which is manufactured from used paper and reduces the harm to environment compared to manufacturing of traditional paper (virgin paper). The dependent factor is purchase intention and the independent factors are environmental behavior, attitude, knowledge and norms. The structured questionnaire was used collect primary data and analyzed using software package. From this research it is found that attitude and personal norms are positively influencing consumer purchase intention towards eco-friendly paper. This study helps the marketers to design strategies for sustaining in the competitive paper industry. The paper industry will have its demand in spite of latest technologies. The paper is used for different purposes like printing, writing, documentation and packaging etc. Hence the understanding consumer behavior is very important for marketers in the paper industry.
When a polymer is contacted with a liquid food, the transfer of materials can take place. So the study method is used to find a new method to understand the packaging behavior during contact with a food by combining experimentation with modeling. The numerical model takes into account all the experimental studies. Diffusivity of liquid simulator was determined and the analytical and numerical model has been developed which aims to provide better information on the concentration of liquid simulator inside the package (PEVA).
Since the 1960s, mouse behavior has been systematically studied in the laboratory environment; however, there is still no consensus regarding the causes of aggression in laboratory animals. The involvement of the immune response in aggressive animal behavior has not been well elucidated. Different studies have found that the levels of interferon alpha (IFN-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) are elevated in depressogenic/anxiogenic models. The aim of this study is to assess the correlations of serum cytokine (TNF, IL-6 and IL-10) levels with patterns of aggressive behavior (PBA). Our results suggest that mice exhibiting anxiety-like and highly aggressive behaviors have increased TNF serum levels and slightly decreased IL-10 levels. Additionally, a direct correlation was observed between high PBA scores and increased levels of TNF.
In today’s modern communication industry, antennas are the most important components required to create a communication link. Microstrip antennas are the most suited for aerospace and mobile applications because of their low profile, light weight and low power handling capacity. They can be designed in a variety of shapes in order to obtain enhanced gain and bandwidth, dual band and circular polarization to even ultra wideband operation. This paper provides a detailed study of the design of probe-fed Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna to facilitate effects of changing the feed point. By this paper we conclude that in the same patch we can take different feed points and same patch can be used for various applications. The main aim of this paper is to design various MSA for and analyze there results. For this first we simulate the results in IE3D and then we test these results practically after designing the hardware of the patch. In testing we find that our designed Microstrip antenna is very useful in Bluetooth technology for communication. The design parameters of the antenna have been calculated using the transmission line model and the cavity model. For the simulation process IE3D electromagnetic software which is based on method of moment (MOM) has been used.
In this article, we apply the ex−p ( Φ(η))-expansion method for seeking the exact solutions of NLEEs via the (1+1)-Dimensional Compound KdvB equation. Plentiful traveling wave solutions with arbitrary parameters are successfully obtained by this method and the wave solutions are expressed in terms of the hyperbolic, trigonometric, and rational functions. The obtained results show that e−xp( Φ(η))- expansion method is very powerful and concise mathematical tool for nonlinear evolution equations in science and engineering.
We compare the behaviour of stock market cycles during repression, in the aftermath of financial liberalization, and in the short and long run following liberalization. We investigate the characteristics of stock market cycles ina group of Latin American (Argentina, Brazil and Chile) and Asian countries (Philippines, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand) during 1975–2005. This paper aims to apply the methodology of univariate structural unobserved components time series models. Our results indicate that liberalization triggers more volatile stock market in the short run. Still, liberalization seems to generate more stable financial markets in the long run. Stock market cycles of Asian countries continue to be very high in the post-reform period, mostly because of the influence of the Asian crisis. However, after financial liberalization, Latin American stock market leads to more stable stock market cycles.
The research study titled “Management of Disciplinary Problems in Secondary Schools with Reference to Jalingo Metropolis” aimed at investigating the types of disciplinary problems, their possible causes and means of managing them. The study used a questionnaire titled Managing Disciplinary Problem Questionnaire (MDPQ). Four point likert rating scale was used to collect data. One thousand (1000) respondents were sampled in four (4) government owned secondary schools in Jalingo metropolis. The results showed truancy, absenteeism, fighting, stealing and drug addiction among others as typical examples of disciplinary problems experienced in the study area. The study also revealed parental/home, political, social and economic, school environment, school curriculum and peer group influence among others as the causes of disciplinary problems. Finally, the study posits that disciplinary problems can be dealt with if school staffers develop a spirit of teamwork and there must be a well spelt out code of conduct for all staff and students to follow
Clean rooms today are highly technological solutions with very high demands on the air cleanliness level. Using kerosene heater for cooking as well as cigarette smoking is important indoor source of fine and coarse particles. It is important to estimate the level of air cleanliness in the cases of new production or reconstruction of a clean room. The air cleanliness level in a clean room is dependent on the quality of the supply air, contamination sources and the design of the ventilation system. By making proper design of air conditioning and ventilation system, the air cleanliness level can be controlled. The number of particulate matter also depends on humidity and temperature in the room at different times. In this study, indoor and outdoor air quality has been measured by an optical particle counter and experimental studies have been carried out to make the indoor air free from particulate matter. Different methods have been prescribed to make the indoor air free from particulate pollution. The results obtained from this experiment can be helpful to take necessary steps to keep the indoor air cleaner.
The spread of Rumors/Grapevines/Rumor-mills continues to be an issue for most midlarge organizations throughout the United States. Rumors have been an integral part of American political views and have had an effect on most organizational change initiatives. The notion of not knowing something provokes human instincts to seek the truth among employees by spreading rumors. In so doing, rumor-mills have the potential to penetrate most organizational structures, which could lead to organizational change derailment if not addressed accordingly.
