A new approach of the Mickens’ iteration method has been presented to obtain approximate analytic solutions of some nonlinear jerk equations. It has been shown that the partial derivatives of integral functions are valid for iteration method in each step of iteration. Also the solutions give more accurate result than other existing methods.
This paper discusses the importance and need of incorporating technology and innovation strategy into business strategy to achieve overall competitive advantage for the company. The use of technology and innovation in value creation system is highlighted in a way that it plays a pivotal role in productivity, economic growth, increasing wealth in socioeconomic environment, and evolution of entire industries. Strategy formation and execution in the context of technology is discussed that technology strategy should be aligned to corporate strategy in order to reap out benefits like performance and competitiveness for the company. Furthermore, concepts like technology strategy, forces affecting technology strategy formation and execution, technology management, innovation management, and what benefits companies can get from these are highlighted and discussed in relation to corporate business strategy.
Algorithms for concurrent data structure have gained attention in recent years as multi-core processors have become ubiquitous. Several features of shared-memory multiprocessors make concurrent data structures significantly more difficult to design and to verify as correct than their sequential counterparts. The primary source of this additional difficulty is concurrency. This paper provides an overview of the some concurrent access algorithms for different data structures.
Background: Sperm cells from infertile patients have poor motility and defected DNA. Pentoxifylline (PX) and Lcarnitine (LC) are added in the medium for in vitro activation to increase sperm motility and improve the pregnancy outcome. However, there are few studies about the effect of PX with LC medium on sperm DNA normality. Objective: The goal of this study is to found out the optimum medium can increase the active motility percentage and reduce sperm DNA damage for asthenozoospermic men using the motility stimulant substances, PX and LC for this purpose. Methods: Semen was collected from 100 infertile men involved in the current study. Each semen sample was divided into four portions. One part was considered as a control group and in vitro activated by using culture medium only. The other portions were considered as treated groups and in vitro activated by adding PX (1mg) and/or LC (0.5mg) to the culture medium. Certain sperm function parameters were examined before and following in vitro activation using layering technique. Sperms DNA damage was detected by using acridine orange (AO) test. Results: The results revealed a highly significant (P<0.01) increment in the mean of sperm concentration (m/ml) percentage of progressive sperm motility grade (A), grade (B) and grade (A+B) and the percentage of morphologically normal sperm (MNS) after using PX and/or LC medium in comparison with control medium .As well as, a highly significant (P<0.001) increase in the percentage of sperm normal DNA by using AO test. Conclusion: It was concluded from the results of the present study that using layering technique with adding PX and/or LC to the culture medium resulting in an improvement in certain sperm function parameters and in the percentage of sperm normal DNA of asthenozoospermic men.
The small-scale sector has emerged as an engine of growth in most of the developing and newly industrialized countries of the world. In India the SSI has played a catalytic role in socio-economic transformation of the country. This sector has exhibited tremendous capacity for employment generation, greater resource use efficiency, and technical innovation, promoting inter-sectoral linkages, raising exports and reducing regional imbalances. Small business has low capital investment and therefore the risk of the entrepreneur is limited and he can afford to be venturesome. Moreover small businesses have a small gestation period so returns are also quick.
The number of high resolution space imagery have great interest in the photogrammetric and remote sensing communities. This imagery is considered as a basic information source for mapping with various applications in geomantic. By this hybrid both the projection model and polynomial model in geometric correction of satellite imagery, it needs to control points and standardisation data. In the geometric correction of the IRS P-5 LISS III imagery is required when ever the image is to be compared with existing maps or with other imagery. In this paper execute the composition of correction function using Ground Control Points. The results show eligibility of geometric correction of these models for selected imagery. An accuracy analysis is performed, with emphasis being laid on the number and location of Ground Control Points.
Now a days, with the growing number of vehicles and consequent shortage of parking space there is a haphazard and totally unregulated parking of vehicles all over, the station calls out for an automated parking system that not only regulates parking in a given area but also keeps the manual control to a bare minimum. To cater to need here we present a minimum model of an automated car parking system that regulated the number of cars that can be parked in an area at any given time based on the parking space available. The entry and exit of vehicle are vacillated using to using to tally automated gate status signal indicates whether space is currently available in the parking lot and whether a car currently in the process of entering or leaving the parking space. To avoid the manual dependent system a Microcontroller-Based system has been developed. The microcontroller has been interfaced with a simple hardware to a PC so that the program can be easily changed as our needs. So, no special arrangement is required to reprogram the microcontroller. The project is less expensive and works satisfactory.
Organizational change continues to be a focal point for most American organizations.Although, American firms have been successful in promoting organizational change in the workplace, unrealistic expectations continue to be endorsed in most organizational structures.Consequently, this organizational dilemma has led to misguided expectations resulting in dissatisfaction in the workplace, leading to dysfunctional organizational behavior.Additionally, studies have suggested that the lack of leadership is blamed for disproportioned organizational behavior issues leading to misguided organizational change in the workplace. In so doing, recommendations will be offered in an effort to streamline organizational change in the workplace, which will lead to improved work productivity.
The study was carried out to assess the impacts of Chromium on glycogen content of certain tissues of freshwater fish, Channa gachua. For this purpose we have analysed the experimental data. After analysed we have concluded that the effect of the presence of chromium on different organs act differently and the effect depends on time also.
Acaricidal effect of foam soap containing essential oil of Ocimum gratissimum leaves was tested on Rhipicephalus lunulatus in western highland of Cameroon. Five doses of essential oil (0.00; 0.04; 0.06; 0.08; 0.10μl/g) with four replications for each dose were tested in vitro. Each replication consisted of 10 ticks in Petri dish with filter paper impregnated uniformly with the foam soap on the bottom. Four of those doses (0.00; 0.06; 0.08; 0.10 μl/g) in three replications were used in vivo. In this case, each replication was made up of 10 naturally ticks infested goats. Results of this study indicated that foam soap containing essential oil of O. gratissimum leaves is toxic to R. lunulatus. The in vitro mortality rate was observed to vary from 0 to 30.00% during the treatment with the controls as compare to 80.00% with the lowest dose (0.04μl/g) on day 8 and 100.00% with the highest dose on day 6. Meanwhile, the in vivo mortality rate was observed to be 22.69% with control on day 8 after treatments whereas the highest dose killed 93.87% of the tick by this day 8. The LD50 of the foam soap containing essential oil was 0.061μl/g for in vitro and 0.066μl/g for in vivo on day 2. This indicates that this medicated soap is potentially highly efficient on this parasite.
