Yemen is an important central state within the Arabian Peninsula, it enjoys an important geographic and strategic location overlooking on Global maritime navigation. Moreover Yemen has various and promising natural resources. As far as its population, it represents almost half of the Arabian Peninsula inhabitants. The Importance of Yemen importance is increased after the north and south unity in 1992. In the first decade of the 21 st . century Yemen faced political instability status came to the surface by internal struggle on the power, regional and international interferences which worked to deepening the political crises that peaked in 2011. Given the gravity of such crises on the Yemenis state, region security, international peace and security, I selected this crises as my research scope.
Background: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is often associated with cognitive deficit. Since brain regions regulating cognition has higher expression of Dopamine receptor 4 (DRD4), we explored association between functional DRD4 promoter variants and cognition of ADHD probands. Methods: Subjects recruited following DSM-IV-TR were assessed for Short Attention Span (SAS) and Erratic Organization Capability (EOC), based on scores obtained through Conner’s Parent Rating Scale and DSM-IV-TR as well as computerized games. Functional variants were analyzed in ADHD probands, their parents and age-matched controls. Results: Probands exhibited significant impairment in SAS and EOC. rs10902180, rs747303, rs936462, showed association with cognitive deficit. Probands with co-morbid learning disability showed higher cognitive impairment. Significant interactive effects were evident between the markers. Conclusion: Impaired in information processing and scholastic performance, strong genotype-phenotype correlations more robust in ADHD cases with learning difficulty, suggest significant contribution of DRD4 in ADHD etiology, possibly due to attenuated receptor functioning.
Introduction: Special needs students are also a part of our society. According to an estimation of Rehabilitation council of India (1995) approximately 16,651 visually impaired children are enrolled in different school programs. Due to their physical problem they remain leg behind form the mainstream. By arranging some special circumstances they could also be a part of mainstream. Objective: The primary objective of this study was to explore the level of educational aspiration of visually challenged students and role of special school in their development of educational aspiration. Method: The present study was conducted to evaluate the Level of Aspiration of Visually Challenged School Children of Orissa. The data were collected from a sample of 200 visually impaired children consisting 100 with partial vision and 100 blind by using simple random technique. The descriptive survey method was used for data collection using The Educational Aspiration Scale (EAS) (Hindi) prepared by Sharma & Gupta (1987) and personal information blank. Results: This study found that educational aspiration was low of entire sample. Male students were more aspirated in comparison to female students. Students who were studying in special school were superior to their counterpart studying in regular school. Conclusions: It can be concluded on the basis of result that educational aspiration was low in those students who were studying in regular school but was higher in special school case. So it is clear that special schools are playing a vital and positive role in enhancement of educational aspiration of visually challenged children.
Cost of oil affects the profit and loss of the organization as oil is immediate or circuitous expense of operation. In this way, the ascent in crude oil costs will be relied upon to bring about the decline in income, which brought about a decrease of prompt stock market index. The goal of the examination is to get precise answers of exploration inquiries said in particular settings of Pakistan, India and China. This paper utilized regression, Durbin Watson test and correlation analysis to discover the answers of exploration inquiries and goals. The time of study is 21 years (From Jan 1995 to June 2015 on the bases of month to month variations) of dependent and predictor variables. It could be seen that the model is superbly fitted to the regression. In all instances of these three stock trades there is sure relationship between oil costs and stock exchange 100 index.
The study was conducted to establish the morphological, physical and chemical properties of soils on a toposequence underlain by mica schist in Ife Area, identify the pedogenic processes that produced the soils and establish the taxonomic and fertility capability classes of the soils. The toposequence was delineated into five physiographic units and soil profile pits were established, described and sampled at each unit. The soil samples collected from each of the genetic horizon were subjected to routine analyses following the procedures in methods of soil analysis. Taxonomic and fertility capability classification of the soils were carried out. The colour and texture of the soils change in response to changes in slope position and drainage condition along the toposequence The soil’s colour ranged from reddish brown to dusky red (5YR 3/2- 2.5YR 3/2) in the surface and yellowish red (5YR 4/8) to reddish yellow (7.5YR 6/6) in the subsoil at the higher position of the toposequence while it range from dark brown (7.5YR 4/2) to dusky red (2.5YR 3/2) in the surface and red (2.5YR 4/ 6) to reddish yellow (7.5YR 6/6) in the subsoil at the lower position. Texturally, the soils varied from sandy clay loam in the surface to sandy clay in the subsoil all through the pedons sampled. The soils were moderately acidic to neutral (pH 5.2 – 6.7) at the surface and strongly acidic to moderately acidic (pH 4.4 - 5.7) in the subsurface. They were characterized by low exchangeable bases which were in the order Ca> Mg> K> Na irrespective of slope position with low to moderate organic matter content. The soils were classified as Typic Kanhaplustults and Aquic Haplustults (USDA soil taxonomy) Plinthic Luvisols, Gleyic Luvisols and Eutric Luvisols (FAO-UNESCO). The agronomic constraints of the soils were acidic reactions, low nutrient reserve and gleying, hence dominant FCC unit of soils in the study area was SC keh. The soils studied were highly-weathered, low in inherent fertility and
Endometriosis is an estrogen-dependent disease, which involves the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity, commonly in the pelvic region. The etiology of the disease is unclear, but multiple factors may contribute to its prognosis. Toxicological studies indicate that many chemicals are able to interfere with endocrine homeostasis, called endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) like Bisphenol A, Phtalate, Polychlorinated Biphenyls and Dioxins. As well documented, endometriosis is an estrogen-dependent disease; therefore, environmental toxicants that either mimic estrogen or enhance estrogenic exposure in the endometrium are thought to increase the risk of endometriosis. The purpose of this mini-review is to provide an overview of epidemiological studies, which have evaluated the relationship between endometriosis and exposure to endocrine disruptors.
One of the greatest challenges mankind faces today is environmental pollution, which is seen as a major threat and can cause global warming. The major causes of pollution are energy, automobiles and electrical appliances. Approximately 40% of the pollution is caused by the energy sector. Reducing this kind of pollution has given opportunity to researcher to carry out research in natural sources of energy like water, wind, solar, bio-gas etc. This paper examines the requirement on energy consumption and the efforts of BRICS nations towards shifting to renewable energy. In addition, this paper conducts a comparative study of the electricity mix, energy consumption and carbon emissions that BRICS countries have carried out. This study reveals that the main reason in power production is the rise of renewable energy in India and Brazil and these countries have been active in shifting to renewable energy. Russia had not made any efforts, whereas South Africa was just getting involved. India had initiated trade deals with BRICS countries through ‘Make India’ for renewable energy products. Among BRICS countries, China had carried out maximum trades for renewable energy.
This paper describes a simulation of on-center handling test, in which a linear 3 degrees of freedom vehicle handling model and a power integral steering system model are incorporated to calculate the time histories of steering wheel angle, steering wheel torque, and vehicle lateral acceleration. The cross plots of steering wheel angle-lateral acceleration, steering wheel torque-lateral acceleration, steering wheel torque-steering wheel angle, steering worklateral acceleration, and steering work gradient-lateral acceleration are drawn and all the oncenter handling parameters are determined from them. The simulation results are compared with the data presented in the literatures, which indicates that the simulation results are reasonable.
