Kaluza Klein cosmological models with varying G in Hoyle Narlikar creation field theory of gravitation for barotropic fluid distribution have been investigated. The solution of the field equations have been obtained by assuming that G=Al, where A is a scale factor and l is a constant. The physical properties of the model are studied.
In this paper, the three-point distribution functions for simultaneous velocity, magnetic, temperature and concentration fields in MHD turbulent flow in presence of coriolis force under going a first order reaction have been studied. The various properties of constructed distribution functions have been discussed. From beginning to end of the study, the transport equation for three-point distribution function under going a first order reaction has been obtained. The resulting equation is compared with the first equation of BBGKY hierarchy of equations and the closure difficulty is to be removed as in the case of ordinary turbulence.
In this paper, an attempt is made to study the three-point distribution function for simultaneous velocity, magnetic temperature and concentration fields in MHD turbulence under going a first order reaction. The various properties of constructed distribution functions have been discussed. Through out the study, the transport equation for three-point distribution functions in MHD turbulent flow under going a first order reaction has been obtained. The obtained equation is compared with the first equation of BBGKY hierarchy of equations and the closure difficulty is to be removed as in the case of ordinary turbulence.
Arab countries have adopted [virtual] e learning to provide interactive education, which characterizes a departure from the traditional classroom setting. Partnerships with Apple, Android, Blackberry, and Windows have resulted in mobile software applications. Researchers indicate that mobile devices inject fun into learning and increase students’ motivation. Furthermore, e-learning improves teacher-learner relationship by shelving face-to-face communication, and is most constructive in regions with fewer or less qualified teachers. While surveys show e-learning is effective, students’ evaluations are mixed. For instance, students are displeased about untimely posting of grades. Notwithstanding, e-learning initiatives, such as Arabic ‘Mathletics’ and Arab/English, provide unprecedented learning opportunities for the region.
This paper is an effort to explore the interaction between fiscal and monetary policies in Jordan through investigating the short-term and long-term relationship between government expenditure as a fiscal policy, money supply as a monetary policy, and inflation as a result and cause of these policies. Using annual data for the period 1990-2011, the study applies cointegration test, Granger-causality, and VECM techniques to inspect the long-term and shortterm relationship and the directions of causality, also the speed of adjustment toward long-term equilibrium between the variables.
Notable disasters - The sinking of RMS Titanic in 1912, with 1,517 fatalities, is probably the most famous shipwreck, but not the biggest in terms of life lost. The wartime sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff in January 1945 in World War II by a Soviet Navy submarine, with an estimated loss of about 9,400 people, remains the greatest maritime disaster ever. In peacetime, the 1987 loss of the ferry Doña Paz, with an estimated 4,386 dead, is the largest non-military loss recorded. In this paper we have taken failure due to struck with iceberg and collision with oil tanker. When the main unit fails then warm standby system becomes operative. Failure due to collision with oil tanker cannot occur simultaneously in both the units and after failure the unit undergoes Type-I or Type-II or Type-III repair facility immediately. Applying the regenerative point technique with renewal process theory the various reliability parameters MTSF, Availability, Busy period, Benefit-Function analysis have been evaluated.
This study evaluated the antimicrobial activity of Ficus exasperata and compared the efficacy of ethanol and hexane extracts on five microbial isolates. To ascertain the set objective, after extraction with ethanol and hexane, the disk and well diffusion agar methods were employed to investigate the antimicrobial activity of the extracts and its minimum inhibitory and bactericidal concentrations. A phytochemical screening was done for the confirmation of the result and the data was statistically analysed.
This paper is aimed at understanding various planning laws and regulations that serve as hindrance to green economy in Nigerian cities. The study is focused on the horticulture practices in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos. This is a form of green economy that was not considered during the preparation of the master plan of the area. The survey for the study was conducted on two (2) occasions (2008 and 2013). This was shortly before planning activities became highly intensive during the 6th republic and in the 7th republic. The study purposively sampled all the commercial horticultural gardens available at the two (2) periods; these are 63 and 39 in 2008 and 2013 respectivelyFindings revealed that about 24 (38%) of the gardens has been lost due to strict application of development control regulations in the space of five (5) years. Result also revealed that over N14, 570,000 worth of investment and N11,070,000 annual profit were affected.
This paper seeks to confirm underlying components of Customer Retention Strategy in mobile phone services. The study adopted structural equation modeling to analyze the factors that constitute customer retention strategy. The study utilized 250 valid questionnaires administered to respondents at the International Islamic University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Random sampling with the basic criteria of respondents being 18 years and above using mobile phone services was adopted. The respondents included University staff academic and non-academic, students of various levels ranging from bachelor’s, through master’s and doctor of philosophy in various faculties and departments. The study found out that relational investment, solidarity, customer trust and satisfaction are key components of Customer Retention Strategy.
Many organizations come across themselves in a challenging conditions with the increase of web applications which depend on cloud. As cloud applications are supportive for rapid releases with respect to the queries requested by the user community. Most of the software organizations expects to release the product in time as required by the end user hence, it pressurize functional teams of the organization to do the needful. As perfection is rare to achieve , it is obvious to commit more and more defects and consequent annoyance to the team. This paper discusses about a new paradigm i.e DevOps which tries to address the identified problem by integrating Development and Operations teams. In this model, the development team would take care of operational requirements like deploying scripts, debugging and performance testing from the scratch and the operations team take care of well-informed support and feedback before, during, and after deployment.
