Ovariohysterectomy was performed via ventral midline clinical cases in dogs (n=35) to present haematobiochemical changes and postoperative complications of elective ovariohysterectomy under dexmedetomidine basal anaesthesia in dogs. Total Leukocyte count and Haemoglobin concentration decreased, whereas, glucose increased significantly. There was a no significant change in neutrophil count, packed cell volume, creatinine, insulin and cortisol. Complications were observed in seven out of thirty five animals. Intra-abdominal haemorrhage was observed in three, abdominal wound dehiscence in 3 animals and ovarian remnant syndrome occurred in one dog. Stress response to surgeries was obtunded dexmedetomidine induced basal anaesthesia.
Objective: To assess several socioeconomic variables and their association withbenign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Patients and methods: A hospital based prospective study comprised 209 patients (aged 36 - 90years, mean age for 9.5 years) surgically treated for BPH within one year of its diagnosis (cases). All cases were from rural area. We classified men with clinical BPH at the follow - up if theyreported (1) frequent or difficulty urinating and were told by a health professional that they had a nenlarged or swollen prostate or (2) if they reported having surgery for BPH. Each participantcompleted a standardized questionnaire, including socioeconomic status, use of cigarettes, alcohol and coffee consumption. The questionnaire also elicited detailed information on themedical history of prostatic and (over the past month) lowers urinary tract symptoms, applying allquestions from the American Urology Association instrument.
This research study aims to investigate the antecedents, measures the association and to which extent demographics influence job satisfaction and organizational commitment of nursing staffs of two teaching hospitals of Dera Ismail Khan. The total N of the study was 125 respondents of two Teaching Hospitals of Dera Ismail Khan. The data analyzed with help of SPSS-16 software program for testing of hypothesis. The correlation test was applied to measure the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Similarly, multiple regression tests were used for investigating the cause and effect relationship between predictor’s variables and criterion variable and to check the impact of demographics, t-test was used. The result of the study showed that the nurse’s perceptions about Pay, work, Promotion, coworker, supervision, and work environment (Khan et al, 2009; Khan et al, 2011) are the most vital factors of employee’s satisfaction and important forecasters of organizational commitment. These results of the contemporary scholars also supported that job satisfaction and organizational commitment were correlated (Mannheim, & Baruch, 1997; Busch et al, 1998; Yousef, 1998; Lum et al, 1998; Al-Aameri 2000). The hypothesis of association between the job satisfaction and organizational commitment has been statistically confirmed. The results indicate that pay, promotion and work environment are most significant factors shaping organizational commitment of nurses in teaching hospitals of Dera Ismail khan. In addition, some factors are playing a secondary role in predicting organizational commitment such as work, coworker, and supervision.

Arabic content on the Internet and other digital media is increasing exponentially, and the number of Arab users of these media has multiplied by more than 20 over the past five years. There is a real need to save allocated space for this content as well as allowing more efficient usage, searching, and retrieving information operations on this content. Using techniques borrowed from other languages or general data compression techniques, ignoring the proper features of Arabic has limited success in terms of compression ratio. In this paper, we present a hybrid technique that uses the linguistic features of Arabic language to improve the compression ratio of Arabic texts. This technique works in phases. In the first phase, the text file is split into four different files using a multilayer model-based approach. In the second phase, each one of these four files is compressed using the Burrows-Wheeler compression algorithm.
Taking over possession of private land by the Government through the use of power of the eminent domain of the state for economic development has become one of the most burning issues all over the world. While the international development agencies are largely in favour of participatory methods of development and governance, the national Governments are found to fight with their own citizens over the issue of land takings, most often, with archaic laws. India is the country where the acquisition of land by the Government still takes place by a more than hundred year old British colonial law, while its law makers have also created democratic and participatory forms of Local Self-Governments, which has no place in the colonial legislation. Ironically, the recent move of the Indian Government to enact a democratic law for the acquisition of land for development downplayed the Local Self-Government by disregarding one of the basic tenets of the Indian Constitution and the various international charters.
This research paper examines the impacts of ‘Globalization & Digital-Technologies’ on access to Radio. Miraculously, the internet and digital technologies have accelerated the wheel of globalization and given new dimensions to the field of broadcasting. In this context, for data collection a structured questionnaire comprised upon seven demographic and five variables (4 independent and 1 dependent)was distributed among 180 teachers of Gomal and Qurtuba Universities at D. I. Khan (KPK). The first hypothesis H1 shows highly significant correlation statistics between the predictors and criterion variable with Access to Radio.H2 was second hypothesis about regression which indicates 64% of change in the criterion variable due to Independent variables, whereas H3 (3rd Hypothesis about regression) shows that 19% change in criterion was due to demographic variables.
Harper’s sphere theorem for the axisymmetric slow viscous flow exterior to a shear stress-free sphere is established in an alternative way and then given an extension of the theorem for the flow interior to the same sphere.
The purpose of this study is to measure the impact of product perceive quality on purchase intention with level of satisfaction, for meeting this purpose the data was collected by individually through 122 questionnaires by adopting the convenience techniques.
