In this work Homotopy Analysis Method(HAM) is used for analytic treatment of the telegraph equations .This method can provide analytical solutions to the problems by just utilizing the initial conditions. The proposed iterative scheme finds the solution without any discretization, linearization or restrictive assumptions. The proposed method solves nonlinear problems without using Adomain polynomials which is the advantage of this method over Adomain Decomposition method. The results reveal that the HAM is very effective, fast, simple, convenient, flexible and accurate. Outcomes prove that HAM is in very good agreement with ADM,VIM HPM.
Compilation of vision, mission and strategies of organization causes systematic and directed movement of organization, but this movement without addressing business values and professional ethics will be spiritless and face serious challenges. To have successful, dynamic, spirited and sustainable business ,it is needed that moral values constitute its basic foundations. Successful business requires at least two major factors: i.e. competitive strategy and excellent performance in professional ethics. Act upon professional ethics is the major foundation of developed employees and managers in organization. Doing tasks, activities and achieving indicators and goals in moral atmosphere causes relation improvement, confidence making, healthy competition, development of capabilities and happiness in organization. Moral and spirituality are considered as requirements of today business world. So , with regard to importance of professional ethics in business, in this paper the concepts of moral, professional ethics and spirituality have been explained and components and 8 stages of operational model of cascading values and professional ethics in different layers of organization have been presented.
This paper presents a coordinated voltage control scheme for improving the network voltage profile and for minimizing the steady-state loading of the STATCOM to effectively support the system during contingencies. The paper addresses implementation issues associated with primary voltage control and optimal tracking secondary voltage control for wind parks based on self-excited induction generators which comprise STATCOM and under-load tap changer (ULTC) substation transformers. The voltage controllers for the STATCOM and ULTC transformer are coordinated and ensure the voltage support.
Multilevel PWM techniques are extensions of twolevel PWM methods; the multiple levels in these inverters offer extra degrees of freedom and greater possibilities in terms of device utilization and effective switching frequency. Though the SPWM and its variations are popular PWM techniques in multilevel inverters, implementing them in a digital platform is tedious, as the pulse-widths can only be defined by transcendental equations. A dc link capacitor voltage balancing scheme is proposed for an induction motor drive. The motor is fed from with threelevel inverters generating a five level output voltage structure. The proposed inverter vector locations exhibit multiplicity in the inverter switching combinations which is suitably exploited to arrive at a capacitor voltage balancing scheme. This allows the use of a single dc link power supply for the combined inverter structure. The lower order harmonic components in the output voltage waveform are eliminated by raising the carrier frequency.
A new simplified space vector PWM method for a three-level inverter is proposed in this paper. The three level inverter has a large number of switching states compared to a two-level inverter. In the proposed scheme, three-level space vector PWM inverter is easily implemented than as conventional two-level space vector PWM inverter. This paper presents a novel DC link balancing scheme for a back-to-back system with three-level diode clamped topologies. The proposed algorithm is improvement of the variable switching frequency control strategy formerly introduced with the three-level back-to-back system and it relays on measurement of adjacent capacitor voltages which provide information about the potential variation in consecutive nodes of the three-level DC link network, Therefore, the proposed method can also be applied to multilevel inverters. In this work, a three-level inverter using space vector modulation strategy has been modeled and simulated.
Dyslipidemia is one of the major derrangement observed in type 2 diabetes mellitus which further leads to various life threatening complications. Certain herbal disulphides/thiols are known to cater a solution towards regulation of this diabetes mellitus induced dyslipidemia. It is known that Diallyl Disulphide (DADS), a component of garlic extract possess hypolipidemic activities and may have therapeutic applications, but the metabolite of DADS, acrolein is toxic and poses certain disadvantages. Certain modified /altered disulphides, shown to possess significant hypolipidemic action with lesser toxic effects. In the present study, we tried to establish the hypolipidemic activities of Diaceto-Dipropyl-Disulphide (DADPDS), a synthetic modified disulphide in alloxan diabetic rats. The results show a significant decrease in plasma cholesterol (60%), plasma triacylglycerol (42%), liver tissue cholesterol (41%) and liver tissue triacylglycerol (23%),indicating the usefulness of this modified disulphide in controlling diabetes induced dyslipidemia.
The purpose of this study was to establish if there is any significant relationship between Principals’ time management as an independent variable and administrative tasks’ performance as the dependent variables in Lagos State Junior and Senior Secondary schools. The study divides administrative tasks into five broad headings, namely: school personnel task, school instructional supervisory task, school business task, school plant maintenance task and school public relations task. Two instruments were used for this study titled, Time Management and School Administrative Tasks’ Performance Questionnaire I (TMSATPQ I for Principals), the second instrument, Time Management School Administrative Tasks Performance Questionnaire II (TMSATPQ II, for teachers). 446 Principals and two thousand, two hundred and thirty Teachers (2230) at five teachers (5) per school. The Sampling cut across the six education districts of Lagos State. The instruments were validated and found reliable at r = 0.83 and r=0 .78 respectively. It was however discovered that there is no significant relationship among principals’ time management, school personnel task, experience and qualification. While, principals’ time management has not significantly affected the instructional supervisory task, school business task, experience and qualification put together. Also, there is no significant differences between principals’ who are cyclic in task performance and principals’ who linear in time performance. Recommendations were made based on these findings, some of which are that conscious effort should be made to identify where, how, when, and why time is wasted and eliminate them. Principals are also encourage to set deadlines and use a day runner complete with a check list to evaluate at the end of each day the level of task completion and strategize for days ahead in meeting the set deadlines and that principals should use the principles and practices of delegation of responsibility and t
This paper presents and analyzes a new biogas based catalytic reforming-processing system for the conversion of gaseous hydrocarbons (coming from manure type anaerobic digesters) such as methane into hydrogen and carbon oxide mixtures. The exit synthesis gas (syn-gas) is introduced to power effectively high temperature fuel cells such as SOFC types for combined efficient electricity generation. Moreover, this research targets on the description and design aspects of permreactors (permeable reformers) carrying the same type of renewable-biogas reforming reactions. The goals of such a research include turnkey system and process development for the biogas based power generation and fuel cell industries. The proper utilization of biogas and waste type resources (coming from manure type anaerobic digesters) for green-type/renewable power generation with increased processing capacity and efficiency via SOFCs is introduced as well. Pollution reduction is under additional design benefit in the described catalytic processors-fuel cell systems, at the same time. Three different reactor configurations are examined and compared. The use of a membrane reformer and of a catalytic membrane reformer offer better hydrogen and syngas yields and methane conversions than the corresponding non-membrane plug flow reactor.
Under the theory of ‘objectivism’ a teacher is ‘sage-on-the-stage’ where student is passive while teacher is active and whatever is delivered by the teacher is accepted by the student unquestionably. However, in ‘constructivism’ learning environment a teacher is supposed to play the role of ‘guide-on-theside’ thereby giving more space and place to the students for learning by themselves and on their own. There is mushrooming research on the mundane roles of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the learning environments. Research reveals that networking technologies and social software has created the opportunities to shift from traditional and biblical models of teaching through objectivism to the new styles of learning under the models of cognitive and social constructivism. This paper is effort to trace the milestones on the way from objectivism to constructivism particularly in the higher education institutions (HEIs).
In this paper the analysis has been done in the aspect of studies on job satisfaction: a case study of engineers India limited, A excel public Sector Company of India. Many qualitative aspects have been asked in the survey and there is one thing that now a day employees do not give importance to mere fiscal requirement but also to working environment which include many work related and non-work related aspects those have been asked in the survey. With the generation of more and more money in the market and work pressure on individual has been tantamount due to which employees seek for comfort in work and many things which may help alleviate work pressure and so their personal / social tension. During recession, when other organizations were issuing pink slips, Engineers India Limited recruited most due its demand in the market. Except some differences in few question asked in survey, in general majority seems to have similar opinion and agrees to the importance of good working culture inclusive of aspects which treats them more than a machine.
