A study was under taken to assess the relationship of plasma cholesterol with plasma uric acid in type-2 diabetes mellitus subjects. A fasting blood sample was collected from normal as well as type-2 diabetic subjects, the separated plasma was employed for the estimation of glucose, cholesterol and uric acid levels. It is observed that there is a proportional rise in uric acid in type-2 diabetic subjects, suggesting that plasma uric acid levels along with total cholesterol levels aids to asses the diabetes induced dyslipidemia as well as to control the diabetic dyslipidemia induced complications in type-2 diabetes mellitus.
A diazinum salt of Benzidine was coupled with aniline to form 4, 4-Bis (1"-azo-4"- aminobenzene) biphenyl. The resulted azo dye was polymerized with different diacid chloride to form azopolymers. Monomer azodye and its azopolymer were determined using elemental analysis , Infrared spectroscopy and HNMR. The microbial degradation constant and rat of azopolymer were quantitatively assessed against fungi ( Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus fumigatus, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus ochraceous and Fusarium oxysporum ). Pleurotus ostreatus Hngary (HAR17) And Ganoderma resencium mycelial hyphae, Candida albicans was used as yeast model. However, Escherichia coli was used as bacterial organisms, using different concentration from azopolymers.
Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is the major cause of chronic kidney disease (CKD) which normally leads to end stage renal disease (ESRD) or dialysis. Despite vigorous management including treatment of hypertension, glyceamic control and the utilization of inhibitors of renin angiotensin system (RAS), a significant proportion of diabetic patients still develop CKD and progress to ESRD. Advances in understanding of the pathogenesis and pathology of DN have made it clear that DN occurs as a result of imbalance between causative factors and endogenous protective factors. To emphasize this concept, this review will focus on some of the current knowledge concerning both causative and endogenous protective factors of DN.
